Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring Review

By Pleasure Panel reviewer edn

I have to admit that I was initially dubious about the Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring as I’ve not had a lot of luck with rubber style cock rings. I’ve generally found them to be so uncomfortable to wear that they have usually been binned after a single try, not so the 8 Ball.

I’m calling it a cock ring, but really the Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring is two cock rings joined together in the eponymous figure eight. (In fact it’s so neatly eponymous that you are left wondering what came first the name or the product!) If you’ve not used anything similar before, then it’s not immediately obvious how you put the thing on. Certainly some rudimentary instructions wouldn’t have gone amiss. After some trial and error I worked out that the larger of the rings goes at the base of your penis, behind the testicles and the smaller ring around the shaft of the penis (see diagram).

It’s not absolutely necessary to use lube to put the Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring on, but it can make the process a little more comfortable. However, nothing can make the process of putting it on either graceful or elegant.

The Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring has a nice chunky design so it’s very comfortable to wear, though please remember that it is recommended that you don’t wear any cock ring for more than 30-40 minutes at a stretch. Comfort-wise the 8-ball is streets ahead of any other rubber cock ring I’ve tried. Most tend to have a circular cross section so can dig too deeply into the penis and are terrible for trapping hairs meaning that any movement you make gives you an impromptu pubic depilation. The 8-ball has a flat cross section spreading the pressure out much more, giving you tightness but not pain.

The Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring certainly provided enough tightness to provide a quite noticeable increase in the girth of my erection. In addition to this increase in girth, the ring at the base of the penis pushes the testicles up and out. As when you climax, the testicles retract this has the added benefit of delaying your climax.

While I’m deeply impressed with the Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring not all in the garden is rosy. Personally I would have liked the rings to be a bit tighter and as there’s no range of sizes or adjustment you have to make do with the single option. I know having complained about the excessive tightness and discomfort from other rings this is a bit perverse but I reserve the right to be self-contradictory! And, although it’s a very minor point, can’t we have them a nicer set of colours than flat blue and black?

Those points, and the earlier mentioned “how the hell do you put this on” lack of instructions aside, I think the Rocks Off 8-Ball Cock Ring is an excellent product. I give it an entirely appropriate eight out of ten. A range of sizes would push it up to nine and some adjustability would take it straight to ten.
