First Impressions & Packaging
Firstly this Pjur Steel Enhancement Gel is just a skincare/ moisturising product and does not claim to do anything else unlike the Pjur Xtend Cream. It features the same rather drab packaging the Xtend has, albeit with a different colour behind the product name. The Pjur Steel Gel comes in the same size tube as the other items, 50ml/ 1.7fl oz. I feel this should last good length of time.
Upon opening the tube you can instantly smell a minty menthol scent. Unlike some products this not overpowering in any way. This scent also gives the expectation that that the Pjur Steel Gel could provide a tingling sensation when applied to more intimate areas.
The Gel
When the Pjur Steel Enhancement Gel is squeezed into your palm, you are presented with a cloudy grey gel that is thick. The gel when first applied feels quite greasy but quickly feels more comfortable as it begins to be absorbed into the skin. As expected sensations soon once the gel is applied. To me it feels like a sharp coolness that gives way to a wave of tingles. If you are not a fan of these types of sensations, then this product is not for you.
How It Feels
I feel that the Pjur Steel Enhancement Gel is more of a general skincare product than a specialised item, as other high street products can give similar results. That being said, the gel still provides good hydration and nice scent with that tingle when you use it on more intimate areas and if you have never tried this type of product before then there are far worse places to start than with this gel.
I would give the Pjur Steel Gel a healthy 5/10
