Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 Review (45mm Main Ring)

My husband and I have been experimenting with chastity play for several years now. Having spotted the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 from Oxy Shop in the list of Cara’s products available for review, I couldn’t resist volunteering to lock up my husband for a couple of weeks, all in the name of product research and reviewing obviously 😉

The Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 arrived packaged in a plain plastic wrap with no instructions or care details, I am assuming the pleasure panel item was a sample product and would imagine that if you were to purchase it it would arrive with some sort of packaging which detailed care instructions/ user warning etc but as my item came with nothing but a cage and a couple of keys I cant say for certain.  If you are new to chastity play you might want to research chastity devices, so you are aware of the do’s and don’ts, just in case your Oxy Store CH32 devices come in plain packaging without any guidance notes.

Anyway, as I said, my husband and I are far from novices when it comes to chastity play, so we had no qualms about slipping the device onto his ‘family jewels’.

Like the vast majority of chastity devices, the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 is held in place via a ring which is placed over the testicles and sits at the base of the penis, the cage part of the device covers the penis shaft and locks into the base ring, a lot of devices then use a mini padlock to secure the two parts together and prevent the wearer from removing the device.  The Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 doesn’t have a padlock, instead it has an internal locking system which slots into the ‘hinge’ of the device and locks in place with a key.  My Husband prefers this type of locking method as padlocks often click against the chastity device while he is moving around, and he feels padlock free devices are more discreet.  I do miss the noise of a clinking padlock, but I am more than happy for him to prefer padlock free devices, he is the one wearing them after all.

The keys which lock the CH32 are quite big and bulky and therefore I am not able to wear them on a chain around my neck or ankle, this is a big miss, I do enjoy the teasing element of flashing his key at him during our day to day lives.  I tend to wear a little silver heart key when he is locked as a small reminder for him but is not quite the same as flashing his actual key.  I do wish manufacturers of chastity devices would consider the keyholder when designing devices and locks.

The ring part of the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 at 45mm is slightly larger than some of my husbands other devices and this meant that the whole device did sit a little further down the penis shaft, the Oxy Shop website does carry a range of different sizes so buyers can be more selective with the sizing to ensure a good fit for the wearer.  If the ring is too tight it can cause blood flow issues to the penis shaft and testicles and if it is too big, the wearer can experience discomfort when wearing long term and in some cases the device could slip off all together.  If fact, on one occasion during the testing process my husband stood up from a sitting position and the device just fell off and came crashing to the floor via his trouser leg, while I had a little giggle, he was more concerned that it could have happened when he was out and about and could have raised a few eyebrows and blushes.

The cage part of the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 is an open birdcage style penis sheath, this means that much of the penis shaft is exposed but due to the length of the cage, the wearer is unable to reach erection.  As a keyholder I much prefer open devices, they give me a little more freedom for teasing my Husband when he is chaste, the open sections allow me to touch his penis with my hands, nails, tongue and even toys, fully covered chastity devices limit how much contact I can have with the penis whilst locked.

Birdcage style devices are also much easier for cleaning purposes, fully enclosed devices require regular removal for cleaning of both the body and the cage.

The Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 is also available with a urethral tube attachment, the device I was sent did not have this attachment, but it is certainly something my Husband and I would like to experiment with at some point in the future.

From my perspective, I like the open style design of the cage, I like the visual aspects of the stainless steel, I dislike the industrial style key and I kind of miss the dinky little padlock but overall, I like the look and design of the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32.

After wearing the cage for 3 weeks solid my Husband has a few thoughts and opinions of his own…

His POV

Firstly, the angle that the penis sheath sits at is slightly more protruding than others in my collection, if I were to wear tight trousers it may look like I am walking around with a bit of an ‘excited stance’, I will stick to more loose-fitting trousers throughout the testing period so as not to raise suspicion.

Putting on the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 is simple, pop the ‘family jewels’ through the ring, slot the cage over the penis and link the two parts together using the pegs on the cage and the holes in the ring.  The lock slides in the join and with a turn of the key everything is secure.  There is a risk of nipping the skin where the two parts join so take extra care and don’t rush.

The craftsmanship of the ring is not as sleek as some of my other stainless steel devices and the finish of the joins is a little rough, there is a section on the ring part which is a little sharp and has caught me a few times throughout the wearing time, not enough to make me yell but certainly enough to make me wince.  More care could have been taken during the manufacturing process to ensure a smooth finish to both parts, the join at the top of the ring where the locking bracket is positioned is particularly rough.

The cage itself is a little larger than what I am used to, and this allows me to get a partial erection, this means that my sleep is not as disturbed as when I wear some of my other devices.

I sometimes forget I am wearing the device as it is so roomy, Lou informs me that smaller cages are available for the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 so if you prefer a tighter fitting cage you may want to opt for a smaller size cage.

Speaking of smaller sizes, the ring on the device is quite large and as mentioned earlier, did fall off once when I was wearing the cage, not ideal.

I do think that if I put my mind to it that I could wiggle my way out of this device – if I was in the mood to be punished by Miss Lou!

We both liked the look of the cage and Miss Lou especially liked playing with my penis through the bars, but the rough edges and the loose fitting means that we score the Oxy Shop Stainless Steel Chastity Cage CH32 a 7 out of 10.
