Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed G-Spot Glass Dildo Review

Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed G-Spot Glass Dildo review by Just Jess

I love how unyielding glass dildos are, they don’t mould and bend to fit my anatomy, the firmness can be brutal. Firm G-Spot stimulation is one of the almost guaranteed ways to make me orgasm and glass is one of my favourite sex toy materials – how could I resist when Cara had not one but three stunning glass dildos available for sex toy testers to review?

The Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed G-Spot Glass Dildo is non-porous and hypoallergenic borosilicate glass and can be both warmed or cooled if temperature play is your thing. It also makes the dildo really easy to clean, it’s sterilisable if you want to share it with a partner and you can use it with any lube.

The packaging makes the dildo look purple, this is a colour I try to avoid for my toys (who needs yet another pink or purple dildo), so I was pleasantly surprised to see that out of the box it’s a gorgeous deep blue colour. Loving Joy do use a few blue puns on the box, but I hadn’t taken much notice of these before I opened it!

Although glass toys don’t instantly look like traditional sex toys I’m not sure I’ll be taking Loving Joy’s advice that it “wouldn’t look out of place in your front room”; though it is very pretty I’ll definitely be keeping it in the bedroom.

The Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed G-Spot Glass Dildo offers two different sensations as it’s essentially double ended.  One side has a large bulb followed by a slender shaft with a pronounced curve aimed to stimulate your G-Spot; whilst the other end is much straighter and has a slightly more bulbous bulb followed by two smaller ones and a fourth that acts as a barrier between the two sides.

Loving Joy state each end has a 3.5” insertable length but in practice the stopper between the two sides is nowhere near big or pronounced enough to prevent deeper insertion – for this reason I haven’t tried using this dildo anally, there really isn’t a flared base or stopper to prevent unwanted travel.

I’m an experienced sex toy user and found this dildo slightly too small for my tastes, it’s not quite weighty enough to give the full feeling I prefer so despite the firmness of the glass I have to thrust quite hard with the curved end to get the kind of G-Spot stimulation I need to orgasm. Despite being a squirty girl, this dildo hasn’t managed to give me a squirting orgasm; it has made me cum but not the sheet grabbing, heavy breathing, damn orgasms I normally have with G-Spot stimulation, it was just… nice. Yep, not exactly a glowing recommendation.

Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed G-Spot Glass Dildo Review

I think the Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed G-Spot Glass Dildo would be great for anyone new to sex toys or new to glass toys, and ÂŁ25 is a great price for a non-porous toy at this end of the market, but for me it was just a little lacking.
