Loving Joy Bound to Please Heart Shaped Crop with Feather Tickler Review

We love spankers. Or floggers, paddles, canes etc. Anything that can be used to strike her behind basically. We have built a large collection of items to provide a range of different sensations, varying levels of pain, depending on our moods and how much of a punishment she deserves. There is also the matter of what shapes I wish her to be marked with. From stripes from a cane, through ovals from a wooden spoon, to a little hand shaped spanker for some more fun shapes! Because of all of this, we always keep an eye out for interesting spankers on Cara Sutra’s Pleasure Panel. The Loving Joy Bound to Please Heart Shaped Crop with Feather Tickler from Loving Joy definitely tempted us!
The crop arrived in a very simple see-through plastic pouch. Unfortunately, this meant that first impressions weren’t brilliant. The plastic rod that makes up the majority of the crop looked rather cheap. This could have been easily fixed with a braided coating, or something with a nicer, higher quality feeling to it. The feather end looked not too bad, and the heart shape paddle end looked adequate, it was just the plastic stick in the middle that I wasn’t sure about.
This all changed though, when I opened the packaging and removed the small paper wrap from the feather end. There were sparkles! The girlfriend loves anything shiny, so she was happy. I found that the sparkling drew attention away from the plastic, at the same time as giving me something more tactile to feel as I wielded the crop. The plastic still felt cheap, and that with too much force in a swing might snap, but this was not so important with the sparkles!
Of course we wanted to put it to use quickly. After a bit of canoodling to warm up, I laid her on her front and started stroking her with the very soft feather end. She was very much enjoying the feel of the feathers on her skin, then THWACK. The heart shaped end came swinging down onto her skin. Having two different sensations in the ends of this crop meant that I could keep surprising her with the rather stingy heart shaped end after the gentle feathery feeling. And that heart is very stingy! The springiness of the plastic and the weight of the silicone means that the heart comes snapping down onto the skin. Everywhere that I struck I left red heart shapes and made a lovely slapping sound. The red hearts were all over her body by the time we were done.
After using the Loving Joy Bound to Please Heart Shaped Crop with Feather Tickler for a while, I did notice that one of the feathers was bent, and it soon after fell off. I am a bit worried that these feathers will quickly wear out, but they work well for now. On the plus side, there were no stress marks on the plastic crop so it might survive long term use better than I expected.
Conclusion
This toy might seem a little cheap in places, but we had a great time with it! The feeling of the silicone heart is different enough to our other spankers that we will be using this regularly. Feathers are always good to use while being intimate, and as mentioned above, the girlfriend does like her sparkly things!
