When this Lovetoy My First Power Love Clit Cock Ring arrived on my doorstep I was excited to test it out as it boasts “powerful vibrations”. Eager as ever I opened the package and had to test it out in my hand (batteries are included for the impatient folk like me!).
My first impression was “oh I’ve got a faulty one”. I pressed the button and felt very faint, intermittent buzzes. Touching just the clitoral flutter heart, I could barely feel anything. The second setting was the same intermittent buzzes, just stronger, and twice as loud. Again the vibrations weakened at the tip of the heart. The third setting was the same strength as the second, but was a constant buzz. Of the three settings this would probably be the one I would opt for.
The cock ring itself is stretchy but at the same time seems very tight. I think if you are a girthier man, you might find this slightly uncomfortable and very restricting.
In use my husband found the Lovetoy My First Power Love Clit Cock Ring to be comfortable, yet he could feel it tight enough around his penis for it to prolong his erection. This is a plus because it also makes the penis feel girthier and the being more pronounced which I like as it feels more textured.
The on/off button is a simple press button that starts on the lowest setting and scrolls through until it turns off. The button is large and easy to use even with wet, lubey hands!
As I expected the first two settings did nothing for me. I couldn’t feel the vibrations along his shaft, as claimed by the Lovetoy My First Power Love Clit Cock Ring packaging, so I settled on setting three for the main action.
I found the fluttering heart to be a bit of a nuisance as it is so flexible that it sometimes gets folded over itself so I couldn’t feel the textured underside. When i could feel it as intended, it wasn’t always on my clitoris so that part was wasted on me. I found the best way to enjoy it was to be on top and grind my clitoris against the actual hard bullet part! So for me the fluttering heart which was the main usp was completely wasted.
In all honesty the fluttering heart was the loser for me. It didn’t add any pleasure, but made me feel a bit bad for using it. By that I mean that a little vibrating ring enhances the penis, but when you add “attachments” it seems a bit of an insult as though it suggests that the penis on it’s own isn’t the correct shape to please a woman.
I don’t doubt that for some people this ‘first cock ring’ would be an ideal purchase, but I have learnt that I seem to prefer simplicity. This would be a good first time purchase for someone wanting to experiment with different vibration patterns and sensations.
