Lovehoney Advent Calendars 2020: The Spoiler-Free Video
Packaging
As always, my Lovehoney delivery arrived with the items packed safely and securely in very discreet outer boxes. No mentions of sex toys or lingerie on the outer box, and no way for the delivery person or neighbours to suspect my sex toy and lingerie addiction by the mail I received.
The lingerie advent calendar is presented in a gorgeous deep, classy shade of red (like red wine), with contrasting luxurious gold stars and the Lovehoney heart logo. To add to the overall feeling that you’ve received an elegant and deluxe gift set, the lingerie advent calendar is tied at the front with a matching deep red ribbon in a pretty bow.
First Impressions
The Lovehoney 7 Nights of Seduction Lingerie Advent Calendar is smaller in size than the 24-door Lovehoney sex toy advent calendar 2020, but no less exciting. Pulling the pretty bow to untie it reveals that each side of the front of the lingerie calendar can be opened much like double doors. The inner leaves of these ‘doors’ have a an attractive motivational sign on the left, with ‘Put on a Show’ surrounded by matching gold stars, while the right inner leaf tells you that your 7 Nights Of Seduction are about to begin, teasing what awaits you inside.
Unlike the Lovehoney sex toy advent calendar 2020, which has traditional perforated doors that you peel back to reveal the day’s treat, this lingerie advent calendar has drawers. This is so satisfyingly appropriate. Popping the lingerie advent calendar up so the base is flat on your bedside drawers or a table means that you have a ready-made mini set of drawers containing a lingerie surprise for each of the 7 days.
The fronts of the drawers are numbered to tell you in which order to open them, plus there’s a matching deep red ribbon pull so they’re easy to open. Inside each drawer your new lingerie treat is found wrapped in protective white tissue paper, and there’s a little card detailing that day’s lingerie gift.
This is such an adorable and cleverly designed little lingerie advent calendar, I’m so impressed and in love!
Size
The Lovehoney 7 Nights of Seduction Lingerie Advent Calendar is smaller than the sex toy advent, as mentioned, but this is both understandable and it really works as a mini cabinet of drawers, full of drawers, to possibly sit on your chest of drawers. What a lot of drawers!
This calendar measures 8.2 inches (21cm) in height, is 7.2 inches (19cm) wide and has a depth of 2.75 inches (7cm).

Summary
This new design for the Lovehoney lingerie advent calendar doesn’t just work, it’s blown me away. I completely adore the fact that you can set it up as a mini cabinet of lingerie dreams, and reveal a new sexy lingerie treat every day over 7 days from actual little drawers which are part of the design. After I revealed all the lingerie contents, they actually fold up small enough again to fit back in the drawers, forming a pretty and luxurious set which feels like a gift to myself, as well as keeping all the components together safely for future uses.
You’re not in luck if you don’t like the deep red wine colour of lingerie, as this lingerie advent calendar is basically components of a deep red lingerie outfit that match perfectly when worn together, but which can obviously be worn separately and matched with your existing lingerie items too. As for me, red is my favourite colour so I was and am in complete lingerie heaven. The items are well made, have fabric and care detail tags, and are easy to figure out in terms of fitting and wear. The star of the show, the basque, is gorgeous with its strappy detailing contrasting the lace panels, and it’s underwired to provide support.
Underwiring/Sizing Note
As always, it’s a risk providing underwired support to the breast area when the sizing is meant to fit between several dress sizes, plus breasts themselves can vary wildly in size –hence why there are so many different bra sizes usually. I’m quite lucky in that I can fit my boobs into the ‘Lovehoney one size’ underwired support, but you may struggle if you have much bigger or much smaller boobs than my 32-34 C/D/DD cups (I also vary wildly, it seems!).
The lace eye mask and delicately chained wrist cuffs are just divine and feel sumptuous. When wearing them I feel exquisitely elegant and like I’m just waiting for him to ravish me.
