Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit Review

Thanks to the Liberator team, I now have quite a few gorgeous sex products in my collection proudly bearing the Liberator logo. After speaking to the team at Erofame Germany this year I was lucky enough to walk away with several items to test and review – with their full permission and knowledge, I mean; I didn’t stuff them all under my jumper (that’s mostly cake). The Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit is one of those items and it captured my interest for three reasons: it’s fluffy, it’s red and black, and it’s bondage. Perfect for me, or what?

Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit Review

The Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit really is a seductive set. Comprising of two ankle cuffs, two wrist cuffs, four extender straps with removable clips to attach to each cuff on the end, two separate connector clips so each cuff can connect to the other, and a Liberator blindfold (with padded nose bridge to keep out any light or sight), there’s everything you need to at least get started with some non-intimidating and supremely comfortable bondage.

Packaging

The Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit is packaged in a lightweight transparent plastic box which isn’t too hard to dismantle to flat and recycle. Inside of this, there’s some card detailing the contents which acts as the packaging branding/design when the kit is all in the box ready for purchase. I am down with the strong, functional but fairly minimal packaging.

How They Work

Using the cuffs is easy. They simply wrap around wrist or ankle and fasten with Velcro, in the same way the Liberator cuffs do that come with the Liberator Black Label Wedge. As I mention in that review, you might not think Velcro cuffs are the strongest in the world – til you’re cuffed in them and trying to escape.

The extender straps in the Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit have a loop which fixes around a plastic holder/buckle thing, which is clever and clips back on itself to hold the strong mesh material of the straps tightly. You can loosen the grip by undoing the clip action, removing the strap to form a loop in the size of your choice, and clipping back tightly again. In this way you can use the extender straps with all sorts of furniture and accessories. You could loop the end round your wrist to hold their bondage literally in your hands (perhaps while your mouth is busy elsewhere on their body), or connect a loop to an existing under-bed restraint system, or bed posts – even your four poster if you’re the lucky type.

Use With Furniture & Interconnection

If you’re even luckier and have larger sex furniture and bondage pieces such as spanking benches and sex swings – well. I’m sure you also have the imagination to conjure up some amazing session possibilities with these bondage restraints and looped end connecting straps.

The interconnectors, meanwhile, connect the cuffs to each other with a much smaller length between them. Just the length of the double ended connector, in fact. They’re ideal for cuffing wrists together in the cuffs either over belly or behind back, and ankles together in the same way – using the additional short, double ended connector to hold your intended’s legs close together.

The cuffs in the Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit are beautifully soft. Fluffy on the outside, like a fluffy velour – but somehow better – and smooth velvet on the inside. The Liberator logo is stitched on to a branding tag and it adds an air of authority in the matter and an opulence which lets you know in no uncertain terms that you have products of the finest quality in your possession.

Improvements

What I would like to see (which is just a suggestion rather than a criticism) is a D ring or O ring attached to some outer part of the cuffs. This would mean even more accessories could be used with them, items with trigger clips or some rope or the other ties that Liberator sell. As they stand, you can only use the connectors and connector straps supplied in this kit – or other compatible ones sold by Liberator in other sets. Anyway, just a thought like I say.

Conclusion

We’ve had enormous fun trying out and using the Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit. It wasn’t so much testing products as using bondage accessories which feel natural and an extension of our fun rather than intruders in the bedroom – which is always a good sign. The blindfold is comfortable – again, the Velcro strap might seem an odd choice but it really works and I much prefer it to the standard (and cheap feeling) elastic. The thoughtful addition of a padded nosebridge makes this blindfold cosy, more luxurious feeling and there’s the practical element of blocking out light and any vision of course.

I feel that this Liberator Plush Seduction Bondage Kit would be brilliant for newbies to bondage – the straps don’t have to be attached to anything at first if you don’t want, and the connectors are all fairly non-intimidating plastic snaps and Velcro. Not only for beginners to bondage though, those who value high quality, beautiful, thoughtful, long lasting and a more seductive style of bondage equipment will love this set too. Also – black and red, what a brilliant combination of colours 😉
