Perhaps in order to keep the price down for the customer, as well as being eco-conscious, the Kooky Kocks Stainless Steel Lockable Bondage Collar just comes in Kooky Kocks’ secure outer box with a transparent plastic wrap keeping the keys safe together with the collar. Easy to open, easy to dispose of the small amount of packaging. I received some Kooky Kocks business cards as well.

Just A Small For Me, Thanks
The medium collar is far too large for me, but I have plans for that one when I meet up with my slave again, don’t you worry. As it’s solid metal, the collar is very heavy therefore would be expensive to post. In any case, I am looking forward to collaring him with this in person which will undoubtedly add to the power exchange eroticism and mutual enjoyment.
Therefore I’ve been trying out, wearing and using the small Kooky Kocks Stainless Steel Lockable Bondage Collar. It’s a great fit for my neck size and I thoroughly enjoyed wearing it during playtimes with my husband. Although I’m not submissive by nature I will happily engage in roleplay in the bedroom with my man – we’re both open to exploring as much of the erotic adventures spectrum as possible.
Putting The Collar On
This Kooky Kocks Stainless Steel Lockable Bondage Collar is extremely cold when you first pick it up and put it on, but it soon warms to your body temperature. I had some difficulty with it at first as I was unable to lock the collar on to myself without any additional help. The O ring on the metal slide which is held in place by the locking mechanism of the collar kept pinging out of place and falling to the floor when I tried to grapple with locking it on my neck by myself. I don’t believe this is a huge issue, as when the collar is used for its intended purpose (during D/s and roleplay sessions) there would likely be another person present who could/would place the collar on to the submissive person’s neck and lock it into place.
When I asked my husband to help me put the collar on, he had no problems whatsoever. I think it must be the angles that made it difficult/impossible when I was trying to fit it on myself. To be honest, he found it highly amusing and arousing that I couldn’t manage it by myself and I’d had to ask him nicely to ‘collar me up’.
Heavyweight D/s Collar
Another feature to keep in mind is that this collar is solid metal therefore it’s quite heavy. This is definitely a heavyweight BDSM item. Be careful when putting it on – you really don’t want it to slip from your grasp and drop on your toes or on a tiled floor and cause pain/damage. Then when it is locked into position, the collar sits weightily around the neck and rested on my collarbones a little. The weight really highlights that feeling of being collared, owned, the submissive party.
O-Ring Possibilities
With an O ring front and centre, there is obviously the erotic possibility of attaching a leash with trigger clip to be led by it, or for the collar to become part of intricate Shibari rope bondage, or whatever other creative possibilities your kinky mind can conjure.
The collar is also wearable/lockable without using the O-ring and its metal slide.
During Wear
I really enjoyed wearing and using the Kooky Kocks Stainless Steel Lockable Bondage Collar. It’s a fun, arousing, kinky piece of kit which is heavyweight and almost industrial in style – but with more sophistication and class than simply being a heavy ring of metal for your neck. Although I’m not submissive I can well imagine the sensations of being owned that wearing this collar would induce; not just at a basic level from wearing the collar, but also due to this particular collar’s material and weight, the fact it needs to be physically locked into position and because the wearer can’t remove the collar without access to the keys (and likely, in a D/s scenario, permission from the Dominant person).
It’s impossible to forget you’re wearing this collar. It lets you know via its constant weight and the fact it’s locked on, without any trace of uncertainty, that you’re collared and you’ll remain collared for as long as the person with the keys dictates. And that is extremely hot.
Summary
This collar is beautifully crafted to a high standard – it’s made from solid stainless steel which is completely smooth without any nicks, bumps or flaws. The integral padlock is fitted well, stays locked until you unlock with one of the two keys provided, and is an extremely kinky and arousing feature which both the wearer and the partner/Dominant person will thoroughly enjoy.
At just £60, I believe the Kooky Kocks Stainless Steel Lockable Bondage Collar is a superb purchase and represents great value for money. The only thing I would like to see added is either a storage box or velvet pouch to keep the metal collar in when it isn’t being worn, but I am aware this would likely push the purchase price up.
I’d strongly recommend the Kooky Kocks collar for anyone looking for an upgrade to their D/s collar, who wants to dabble in lockable BDSM accessories and for those who, like me, absolutely love the solid, stern feeling of heavyweight cold metal around their neck.
