Fun Factory Stronic Drei Thrusting Vibrator Review
The Fun Factory Stronic Drei Thrusting Vibrator was sent to me free in exchange for a fair and honest review. As this was a tester product, it did not arrive in the usual retail packaging but rather arrived with a selection of other items, with a netted button protector over the handle and a hygiene seal label over the top.
If you haven’t heard of Fun Factory, or the Stronic range, you’re really missing out. Fun Factory are a German manufacturer of sex toys which fully validate the German reputation for having fantastic engineering capabilities.
The Stronic range of sex toys don’t vibrate like traditional sex toys, they move back and forth at the speed and function you choose, pulsating rather than vibrating. This thrusting motion is reminiscent of real sex and it’s like holding a mini sex machine in your hand. Each of the three Stronic Pulsators are slightly different in form, to give you a choice of either smooth (Eins), anal and prostate (Zwei), or ridged G-spot stimulation as we have here with the Stronic Drei.
My initial impressions were that the Fun Factory Stronic Drei Thrusting Vibrator lived up to everything I had heard and previously experienced with this range. I love the first two in the collection but I think the Drei is my favourite. Let me start at the beginning.
As with the Eins and Zwei, the Stronic Drei is made from medical grade silicone as you would expect from a luxury sex toy. It is non-porous, hygienic, body safe and feels velvety smooth to the touch. Apart from the dramatic ridges along the shaft, of course!
My Stronic Drei is turquoise green, but you can also find it in a fuchsia pink colour. This is a big vibrator. If you’re a petite lady or new to penetrative vibrators, either grab the lube and find something hard to bite down on, or choose something else for now.
So there I was, holding in my hand the famous and much lusted after Stronic Drei. All I needed to do was charge it up and I could get started! Hurray! I grabbed the Fun Factory magnetic click n charge charger (one charger required for all the Fun Factory rechargeable sex toys, sold separately and does not arrive with the products), and connected it.
After about 6-8 hours I checked the Fun Factory Stronic Drei Thrusting Vibrator. Still no power. Hmm. I left it overnight. Still no power. At this point I was getting worried about whether I had a dud. Put a shout-out online and found out from Mel at Voluptasse that hers had taken over 20 hours for the initial charge.
Researching a little further online it does warn that your Stronic Drei may take 16 hours for the initial charge. Mine took 22 hours so be patient (unlike me!). Plug it in as soon as you receive it! It’s definitely worth the wait however and doesn’t take nearly as long to charge up on subsequent occasions.
Like I have mentioned, this is a big vibe so you need to grab some water based lube before you begin. The Stronic Drei has been made for vaginal use but thanks to the flare at the base you could happily use it for anal too, if you can fit it in.
During use – one word: wow.
Plus some others for good measure. Big. Powerful. Thrusting. Those things immediately hit you when you start using the Drei. I knew I’d be lying down for this sex toy, as the motion of the pulsators in the Stronic collection don’t do well against gravity. Standing up just doesn’t give you the full whack of the thrusts.
The Fun Factory Stronic Drei Thrusting Vibrator tip is curved to better tap that G-spot, while the increasing width of the body, combined with the prominent ridges, are an absolute win. The flare at the base gives your clitoris some attention, but I still wanted to add in a clit stim so you may wish to grab a vibrating bullet or your iGino. That’s if you’re greedy, like me, obviously.
Adding lube was vital for the Fun Factory Stronic Drei Thrusting Vibrator to be a winner. The lubrication means that the thrusting, back and forth motion is frictionless and seems as close to real sex as it’s gonna get with a sex toy. I liken this to the smallest, most portable fucking machine you can buy.
The buttons are easy to use: + and – to scroll through the 10 settings (far too complex for me to try and explain!) and the FUN button to turn on and off. I find the mid speed the best on this sex toy, the fastest speed blends the pulsations too much for it to be thrusting and it almost turns into a vibrator. With the middle pulsation you still get that erotic back and forth motion but with real power behind it. There are plenty of oscillating and dot dash styles too for those who like it a bit more varied.
Even on the fastest speed you have to have this up to your ear before you can barely hear the motor inside, that’s how quiet it is. You can’t even hear it in the same room, never mind through a paper thin wall. Very discreet.
You could use this for anal stimulation, just like you could use the Zwei for vaginal stimulation – but in my opinion you’re better off using them for what they were intended. I am pretty lucky to own the set though, so choose which Stronic you feel is right for your needs and wants.It’s not the cheapest sex toy, but for those who love vaginal and G-spot stimulation it is likely to be the ONLY sex toy you need.

Thank you for the review. Initially I was a bit turned off when you mentioned the terribly long time it takes to charge, but when you said “small handheld fucking machine” that was easily forgotten. How long does it take to charge in between uses?
So which of the three stronics is your favorite… Do any provide enough clit stim to be totally hands free?
I like the Stronic Drei, the ridges and the curve is fantastic for internal stimulation. If clit stim with internal sensation is your desire, I would say that the Stronic is more for internal pleasure, with the clit stim being almost a happy accident. Try the Swan Whooper vibrator for a more powerful clit stim with internal shaft.
