The whole title is a bit of a mouthful (Dona Aphrodisiac & Pheromone Infused Massage Lotion)… basically what we have here is a nice massage lotion that is infused as the title suggests with pheromones to act as a mild aphrodisiac. I must admit that I asked to review this as i was curious as to how I would react when using it. Would the DONA by JO Massage Lotion Flirty Blushing Berry turn me into a sultry siren who couldn’t wait to get her man out of his pants or would it be Meh (note to self, must use Meh more often, I like it).

Let me start by describing the massage lotion packaging, it comes in a pump bottle and the label carries a massive amount of information and instructions on its reverse in five different languages. The front is nicely designed in a metallic pink colour scheme. The pump action made it easy to apply just the amount I needed without getting messy or having it run everywhere.
The DONA by JO Massage Lotion Flirty Blushing Berry has a huge amount of ingredients some of which are Glycol and Parabens, I usually tend to use products with minimal ingredients but it is what it is I guess.
So how does this massage lotion perform and feel? Well it is quite thick which again makes it easy to apply as it doesn’t run easily and it rubs in really well leaving no sticky or tacky after effects at all. Just a lingering mild fragrance, this one is called Blushing Berry and it is very nice indeed.
A little goes quite a long way and it covers well. I enjoy warming my massage lotions up in a bowl of warm water and I found that when I did that the fragrance was definitely more pronounced.
As for the aphrodisiac properties of this massage lotion, well I am afraid they were wasted on me. I didn’t notice any difference between using it and my usual lotions. It certainly didn’t have me frothing at the lips (the lower ones) and becoming a man eater which is a pity.
That said though the DONA by JO Massage Lotion Flirty Blushing Berry is still a rather nice massage lotion and I will be using it again. Maybe its aphrodisiac and pheromone induced properties will work better for you. For me it is just a nice massage lotion with a nice subtle floral fragrance.
