By Voluptuous Vixen

The Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator has become my ‘go to’ vibe since receiving it from Cara Sutra to review. I am absolutely in love with it.

The Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator comes in a feminine, chic and French Boutique style box. It is on view in a window, with a magnetic ‘door’ to open. Sadly there was no storage bag, user manual or details on how to claim the 5 year warranty, as promised on the box. I can only assume that as the vibe is a tester, these items were not included.

First thing I had noticed when taking the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator out of the box, was how velvety smooth it is. I spent a good hour or so just fondling it in my hands and gently stroking it against my skin. I have a hyper sense of smell and I’m pleased to report that there was no smell to the silicone.

Blush Novelties state in their product description on their website that the silicone is ‘pure’. Now I’m not too sure what ‘pure’ is meant to mean, I see other brands using ‘platinum silicone’ or ‘medical grade silicone’, so I was a little puzzled as to what they mean, but they assure on their website that it is 100% body safe and phthalate and latex free. I feel that the silicone is very similar to my L’Amourose Denia, soft, velvety and doesn’t collect lint.

So, what do we get with the Blush Vilain Audre?

  • 7 functions, 3 which are speeds and 4 patterns
  •  Deep, rumbling, powerful vibrations
  • Waterproof
  • Rechargeable AC/USB plug (UK and Europe will need a AC adapter)
  • Light in weight, flexible, sumptuous silicone, luxurious feel.
  •  7 inches in length with 5 inches insertable.
  •  Width: 1.4 inch(tip), 1.1 inch(shaft), 1.5 inch(handle base)

Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator Review Pleasure Panel-6

The curve of the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator is typical of most g-spot toys that I own, the head is quite bulbous and firm, with the curved shaft being slimmer and supple. Two control buttons are slightly raised, an on/off button and the vibration/pattern button. Sadly you have to click through each pattern if you accidentally press a button during play, no back button I’m afraid. If you accidentally turn it off, you have to click through to find your favourite speed or pattern, as there is no memory like you’d get with LELO or other luxury toys.

During use, I felt that the Blush Vilain Audre was easy to use. Due to it being light, my hands didn’t ache (I have rheumatoid arthritis). I’m quite a ‘big girl’ with being overweight and some toys I struggle to use comfortably, but I’ve had no issues using this vibe as a clit toy, g-spot toy and discovering I can use it for dual stim (both the clit and g-spot at the same time).

My anatomy seems to be really suited to the Blush Vilain Audre, with a firm, rumbly tip and vibrations travelling down the shaft to the handle. I thought that adding pressure to the handle on my clit and labia, I’d accidentally press the buttons, but the vibe kept on going and I came so hard from feeling such powerful and intense vibrations throughout the whole of my body…

But I wasn’t finished. Just as I was recovering, with the vibe still on, I quickly climaxed again, my head was spinning, I was very vocal (and I’m usually quiet during climaxing), my whole body felt like electricity was running through my veins, my muscles clenching the toy, making the vibrations more rumbly, my clit tingling and I rode the orgasm for what seemed an age. It just wouldn’t stop.

Removing the vibe, I swear I could still feel those vibrations pulsating through me. I couldn’t move for a while, all my energy had been zapped (I suffer with ME/CFS and Fibro too). When I attempted to go to the bathroom, I had jelly legs – I must’ve had a grin that rivalled the Cheshire Cat!

It took a while for me to recover, but the following day, I had to do it again. With the same technique, I quickly achieved another 2 earth shattering orgasms. I did try the Blush Vilain Audre in the shower, I have an adapted shower and need to sit, but I just couldn’t get the same angles and rhythm going as I do when lay on my bed on my back. I don’t need to do much thrusting, the pattern and pulses seem to provide that feeling. I’m overwhelmed by how suited to my body the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre is, but I know that we’re all different, so be mindful that my method may not work for you.

Cleaning up is easy, just make sure the little charging port tab is in place correctly, then you can wash with warm water and a mild soap, or a sex toy cleaner.

To charge the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator, lift the little tab (easier to open if you have long nails), pop the charger in and use either the USB cable or AC plug. I charge from my laptop for a couple of hours. There are no lights to indicate that it’s charging, or is fully charged, you just have to guess. I have had the vibe on full  speed for 50 minutes before the juice runs low and you have to recharge it.

I’d recommend that you only use a good quality water based lube, using a silicone may react to the silicone on the vibe.

Summary

It feels as though the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator was designed just for me. The packaging does say that it is designed by women, for women and it does feel that way. Everything about the vibe is just amazing, with only a couple of niggles with no charging lights and the ‘pure silicone’ query.

Power Queens will enjoy the Blush Vilain Audre, as those who love their deep, rumbly vibrations.

I love the affordability of the Vilain range, with the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator retailing at about $80 USD. I feel like I really have a luxurious sex toy. I’m not sure many would agree with me, but this vibe knocks the socks off some of the LELO sex toys, especially with the vibrations matching those of the We-Vibe Tango bullet vibrator.

I’m definitely giving the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator a 10/10.

Thanks to Cara Sutra for giving me the opportunity to test and review the Blush Novelties Vilain Audre Onyx Vibrator for my honest opinion and views.
