Bathmate Hercules Penis Pump Review

By Tim Cash

Like many men, I have been curious whether penis pumps actually work since my teenage years. When the Bathmate Hercules Penis Pump appeared on Cara Sutra’s Pleasure Panel, I thought that it would be a great chance to give it an unbiased review. I often find that reviews about such items lack credibility.

The Bathmate Hercules Penis Pump arrived in a simple box showing the 3 available colours, with a brief synopsis. Considering the target audience, the box could have been a lot more sleazy. The packaging design is nice and subtle really. Strangely the picture on the box did not match the actual product. I assumed that this was due to a change in production.

This penis pump looks nice and simple. Plastic tube, with a spongy base, and a valve at the top. It seemed like a very simple device to use. It’s size seemed like a good fit for me. Not overwhelmingly large, but with enough space to grow my penis, assuming the marketing promises were real. A booklet does contain instructions and shows a couple of optional items.

Using the Penis Pump was as simple as it seemed. After running myself a nice bath, and relaxing for a few minutes, I filled the chamber with warm water, and inserted my penis. The foam base presses firmly into the crotch, and then the pump is pulled towards you. This instantly created a seal, and started depressurising the chamber. If a seal is not made, you may wish to consider shaving, or to apply Vaseline. Luckily, I usually shave, so I had no issues. Once the initial seal is made, pumping out the water will start expanding the penis. Occasionally pumping to increase the pressure will increase growth.

Keep the Bathmate Hercules Penis Pump in place for 5 minutes then release the valve at the top to allow blood to flow again, massaging the penis, before pumping again is the recommended technique. The instruction booklet specifies to only do three 5-minute sessions a day. My first use of the pump, I got confused with the release valve. I had thought that the small black stalk sticking out of the top was the release valve, but after a few failed fumblings, I worked out that I need to push the clear plastic round section at the top.

Bathmate Original Hercules Hydrotherapy Penis Pump Review

After my first use, my flaccid penis hung a lot bigger than usual. This effect stayed for the whole day. Initially, I didn’t find that my erections were much bigger. After a few days, this started changing. Both my girth and length seemed to increase. Plus the more I used it, the longer the effects seemed to last for. I constantly had a larger package. Bathmate promises that regular use, over at least 6 weeks, will lead to permanent increases. I have been using the pump 6 days a week, for just less than a month, and the changes have not reduced. I have seen constant growth, though.

I starting with a flaccid length of 3.5 inches, which is now around 5 inches, 5.5 immediately after pumping. My erect length was 6 inches, with a girth of 5. This went up to a girth of 5.5 inches and a length just under 7 inches.

As the Bathmate Hercules Penis Pump is used in the bath, the pump should stay clean, though soap and water will do the job if it does get dirty.

I found the Bathmate Hercules Penis Pump to be surprisingly effective. Even though I did not have any issues with my size, having a bit more is quite nice. I have enjoyed using it, and will keep on using it. I can honestly say that if you are not happy with what you have, or just to see what it is like to have a bit more, give a Bathmate a go!
