AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel reviews by the Cara Sutra team
What words would you use to describe salted caramel? Divine? Delicious? Devilish? These all sound like highly appealing adjectives to my ears. They are also all words I would very much like to associate with my sex life and the absolute pleasure I gain from it. Luckily for me this Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel popped up on Cara Sutra’s review product list to create a hopefully(!) heavenly combination of taste and sensation to fulfil these aims.
So of course I was very willing to put my name forward to test it out in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for the opportunity, as ever, and read ahead to find out if this was a Salted Caramel Success or a Bedroom Nightmare…
This Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel comes in a plastic pump bottle that has the MEO branded label wrapped around it. I have only seen MEO stock extreme/hard-core items that seem to be aimed more towards the bondage/fetish market, so the unintimidating branding on this was a definite curveball, but it definitely does make it feel like a more inclusive product that doesn’t come across as scary to more vanilla people. I was expecting a sample size, but what I received was a hefty bottle of product that felt like it would last a very long time and definitely justifies the price more.
The ingredients in this Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel – note the word “gel” not “oil”– are: Glycerine, Water, Propyleneglycol, Aroma, CI 19140, Sodium Saccharin.
As far as I am aware, I do not have an issue with any of these ingredients, and no problems arose during testing. Of course, if you know you have an issue with any of the above ingredients then I would not advise you to purchase this Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel.
I pointed out the lack of the word “oil” above because this is indeed reflected in the ingredients list, and credit to MEO for not naming their product in a misleading way. Despite the Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel not being an “oil”, it is apparently still not condom compatible – try to avoid getting it near the genital areas when using this if you are planning to then use condoms or another similar barrier contraceptive. As a result of the interesting gel formulation, it doesn’t behave in exactly the same way as your typical massage oil. I’m certain this was the goal for MEO in developing this product, so this isn’t a negative, just an observation.
When you go to dispense some Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel from the bottle, I have found a little goes a long way. The tiniest press down on the pump lid releases enough gel to cover the back of my hand generously, and a full pump spreads over a large surface area. This is a runny liquid which doesn’t feel sticky at all: it feels moisturising and smooth, without an unpleasant greasy residue.
Whilst all this is very positive, my absolute favourite aspect of this product is the taste/smell: it is AMAZING. The Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel has an extremely strong scent that is apparent from the moment you pump it out of the bottle, and can linger for hours possibly, but wow is it gorgeous! Never have I had a sexual health product that mimics its chosen flavour so well. I can’t even tell any real chemical-y aftertaste – I would legitimately drizzle this over ice cream and enjoy every damn second of it.
All of these above impressions came from first opening the packet and having a play around before testing, so this now had a lot of expectations and excitement to live up to! As soon as I could, I enlisted the help of my lovely boyfriend to make me his own personal salted caramel sundae, and offer his own feedback on this Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel.
On the whole, our overall impressions were positive: You could get a sizeable area covered in comparison to the small amount of gel pumped out, but this was noticeably less slippery than a standard massage oil, and it did require him to work at spreading it over my skin before it absorbed in too much. A pro of the texture is that you don’t feel greasy, like you need a shower or that you’ll ruin the bedsheets, but it means it doesn’t last as long as a proper oil. We didn’t use it for an overly long time – more as an addition to foreplay than a main event – so this wasn’t an issue for us. But we agreed that if you are looking for a massage gel to last for a long and slow session, this might not be the best product you could buy – a more traditional oil-based item would probably be better suited. We also didn’t experience the “warming” sensation MEO claims this gel would give, so if you were looking for that I wouldn’t recommend this product.
This was a new type of product for both of us and we found it very enjoyable for the purposes we wanted it for. It tasted and smelled absolutely awesome, plus the amazing sex afterwards was likely influenced by the shared experience using this Sensual AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel. Our only advice would be that if you are looking for something to indulge in a long-drawn-out, extremely slippery massage session with, this is not the number 1 choice.

Pillow Princess Reviews’ Review
My girlfriend gives great massages (I know. I lucked out.) My girlfriend also loves salted caramel with the burning passion of one thousand suns. So when we saw that the Pleasure Panel had AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel available for review, we had to jump on that. Thanks, Cara, for sending it to us!
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel comes in a handy pump bottle that contains 125ml of product. The bottle is made out of quite sturdy plastic, and the pump is really handy. You don’t have to squeeze a squeezy tube with slippery hands, and it distributes quite a proportionate amount of massage gel.
We were pleasantly surprised by the texture of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel. Some “sexy massage” products can feel quite cheap and even downright unpleasant, but that was not the case with the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel. As its name suggests, it’s a gel, not an oil. That means it’s not oily, but also not overly sticky, as you could have expected of something with “salted caramel” in its name. It does leave a slightly tacky residue, but nothing too long-lasting.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel also warms to the touch, which is really quite nice during a massage and helps relax the muscles and create a sensual experience.
Obviously, the most special thing about the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is its fragrance and flavour. I was bracing myself for the worst, but again, I was actually quite pleasantly surprised. It smells and tastes like regular supermarket salted caramel sweets, and actually reminds me a lot of caramel spread. It’s not as delicate as the fancy stuff, obviously, but it’s also not cheap or artificial. It has quite a pleasant scent during the massage, and even though the flavour is not exactly yummy enough to make you want to drink the bottle, it’s quite a nice taste if want to kiss your partner’s body after you gave them a massage.
This goes to show that MEO managed to prove my preconceived opinions about sexy massage products wrong!
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is a massage gel, not a lubricant. It’s incompatible with condoms, I wouldn’t risk it on silicone toys, and the ingredients list is a recipe for a yeast infection. It contains glycerin, water, propyleneglycol, aroma, CI 19140, and sodium saccharin. Glycerine is known to encourage infections of any kind, and sodium saccharin is an artificial sweetener. Putting sweeteners in your rectum or vagina pretty much guarantees a yeast infection, so please use this product only externally, as advertised.
My girlfriend owns a few massage gels and oils, and the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel has not supplanted them. But sometimes, smelling like caramel is just plain fun (especially when your girlfriend loves caramel as much as mine). When I’m feeling like a fun, giggly, sweet, sensual and relaxing experience, I will certainly be reaching for the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel.

Shady Shania’s Review
I have been sent the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel free of charge in exchange for a frank and honest review.
The tube of AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel arrived with a plastic seal around the whole bottle which showed that the product had not been tampered with. It has a pump action top that is easy to use and pumps out a small amount of the massage gel. I began with rubbing some on the back of my hand as previous massage gels have been sticky and left a residue on the skin which then passed onto sheets when play had finished. The gel was easy to rub into the skin and this was not warmed up beforehand. Upon licking the back of my hand I have to say how lovely this gel tasted! I would be happy to just pour this over my ice cream and eat it rather than use as a massage gel, there were no strange undertones and no nasty after tastes left in my mouth.
As I needed to test this for a review, the option to just eat the gel wasn’t really an option, so here is the actual review of use. We did not warm the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel prior to use, but I suppose there is no reason why you couldn’t warm it up gently before hand, not sure it would work by putting in the microwave!? We pumped the gel onto our hands and rubbed them together first which makes the gel body temperature. It then rubbed into the skin very well, it ensured our hands flowed and no drag was apparent. It is nice to know you can continue licking and kissing the skin after and during the massage without bitter tastes.
As previously said, we have had to shower after using other massage gels/oils due to the residue left behind, or had to change the bedding the following morning. If you time your play with bed changing days then that doesn’t cause too many problems. The gel leaves no nasty marks on bedding, and can be washed out if you spill onto them.
We have only used this as a massage gel (and dessert sauce lol), due to containing Glycerine would make it not suitable as lube and use of condoms. I would say we did not find that the gel had any other amazing effects to it and made sure it was not used on the genitals.
Overall the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is a nice massage gel with an amazing taste, we would definitely have bought this to try and will be using again but just as a massage gel. Would be nice if there was further information/guidance on where it could be used and how to use it to the best effect.
I would score the massage gel 6 out of 10.

Who doesn’t enjoy a long slow sensual massage? I know I love it and I was excited when Cara gave me the opportunity to review the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel.
This is the second flavour of massage gel I have reviewed from the AMOREMEO range, and I loved the Vanilla one, so I was looking forward to putting this one to the test.
I had a lot of fun testing the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel thoroughly with my partner, and while I won’t go into too many details, I find a good massage sets the tone for a steamy session of lovemaking. So did this massage gel get my juices flowing or is it something to be avoided?
This massage oil comes in an attractive and sturdy pump action plastic bottle containing 125ml of the gel. It has a sealed cap for hygiene and security, and that gives you peace of mind that it hasn’t been tampered with in any way.
At current exchange rates, the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is just £8.80 which makes it good value for money.
I like the pump dispenser as it allows you to dispense just the right amount and that means you won’t be wasting any.
The branding on the bottle is subtle, and the bottle carries lots of product information including a full list of ingredients. This massage gel has the following elements; glycerin, water, propylene glycol, aroma, CI 19140 & sodium saccarin.
This is the same ingredients as are in the other flavour of massage lube. Most of these elements are perfectly fine, but it does contain Glycerin which is a sugar-based sweetener. I never recommend applying a product containing glycerine directly to your genitals as it can give you an increased risk of yeast infections but as this is a massage gel that is fine.
This AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel has warming properties when it’s used, and this is something to be aware of if you are like me and find that sort of sensation uncomfortable on your genitals. I am hypersensitive to warming lubes and gels, so I never applied any to my pussy, but it is something to bear in mind. If you do want to try some down there, then I recommend starting with a tiny amount first before you splash it all over, just in case you don’t like the sensation.
This warming property is impressive when it is used for a massage though as it feels oh so nice.
One of the first things that you notice when you dispense some of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is the smell. It is delicious, and soon fills the room as you massage it in. I must say I love the salted caramel smell and found it made me hungry when it was being massaged into my body.
It is quite a runny gel so be careful when you dispense it into your hand. Dispensing is very easy due to the pump action bottle and once dispensed I enjoyed rubbing it into my hands to warm it up before giving a massage.
This kicks off the odour of this product, and it smells so good. The scent builds as you rub it into the skin of the person on the receiving end of the massage. I loved the way that you really can smell the distinct scent, some massage gels have a very subtle scent but this one is strong, and it’s almost intoxicating.
I did taste the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel as it is marketed as a kissable gel and it is very sweet, and you can taste the caramel. It isn’t something I would use as an oral lube, but if you do end up kissing skin during the massage, it isn’t unpleasant.
Rubbing it in gives a nice rosy glowing feeling as it warms you up helping you to relax. It is a very nice sensation but remember my warning about direct genital contact with it.
Massaging the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is in pleasant for both parties, the receiver benefits from the warming sensual nature of the product, and as the massage giver, your nose is treated to the lovely Caramel aroma.
It spreads quite well, but you will need quite a bit to get good coverage. After using it, I did find that it left my hands sticky and when it was used on me I did want to have a shower after using it. It is enjoyable to use, but the tacky sensation afterwards is a little off-putting for me.
My partner enjoyed using the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel on me and enjoyed kissing my nipples after spending lots of time massaging my breasts; I must admit I enjoyed that a lot. It would, therefore, make an ideal foreplay product. It has me curious to try the other gels that MEO do especially the oral lubes. He loves the Caramel smell as well, it does fill the room and gives a nice atmosphere for a massage.
In summary: I like this massage gel, the scent is lovely, and the bottle is functional. The warming effect is very nice in use, and the combination of the smell and warming gives the perfect massage.
I’d like to thank Cara and MEO for giving me the opportunity to review the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel for them both.

Who doesn’t enjoy a long sensual massage? With our busy life, massages are something we don’t often get time to do… we do get busy doing other sexy stuff, but difficult trying to fit it all in, with kids, work and family stuff. So I was really pleased to get the opportunity to test the AMOREMEO Kissable Salted Caramel Massage Gel.
Thank you Cara and MEO.
The AMOREMEO Kissable Salted Caramel Massage Gel claims to be an exciting, sensual and alluring massage gel with a warming effect. It has a tempting fragrance and yummy taste, and claims to moisturise the skin. So let’s find out…
The packaging for the AMOREMEO Kissable Salted Caramel Massage Gel is a simple and stylish design. The bottle is a good size at 125ml, and features a handy pump dispenser, this is protected by a clear click-top lid. I do like pump dispensers, as they are convenient, prevent spillages, and they are easy the use. The bottle arrives completely protected by plastic wrap, this has to be peeled off before use. After I removed it, I easily pumped a small amount on the back of my hand, I was surprised at the consistency, it was more like oil than gel, and it was very runny.
I rubbed some on the back of my hand, and the smell of salted caramel was delicious. It was so tempting, I had to taste it, it wasn’t unpleasant, but it did taste artificial. The scent lasted quite some time on my skin, which was lovely.
Ingredients: Glycerin, Water, Propyleneglycol, Caramel E150, Natriumchloride, Sodium Saccarin
As you can see from the ingredients listed this massage gel contains glycerin, so I wouldn’t recommend using it for an erotic massage, as glycerin is known to cause yeast infections in the vagina. It’s also worth noting, the AMOREMEO Kissable Salted Caramel Massage Gel is not compatible with condoms and is not a contraceptive.
I have been suffering with neck ache recently so my OH kindly gave me a massage first. When he first applied the oil it felt cold, but soon warmed up as his hands caressed my body, and the warming sensations kicked in. It felt wonderful, and the delicious aroma of sweet salted caramel filling the air was comforting. All my my troubles seemed to melt away, and I wondered why we didn’t indulge in massages more often!
This massage gel feels silky smooth, and spreads on the skin really well. A small amount seemed to go a long way, and it absorbs well into the skin. It does leave your skin with a tacky feeling after use, which doesn’t feel so good, but you can simply wash it off after use. My skin is soft normally because of other products I use on it, but my OH did mention my felt noticeable softer the next day.
My OH enjoyed a long sensual massage from me, he loved the aroma of the salted caramel, it seemed to fill the room and set a lovely ambience. My hands glided smoothly on his back, and once I’d rubbed his back all over with the gel he smelled good enough to eat! It was lovely to spend some quality time together and to indulge in a slow sensual massage, it certainly puts you in the mood for some loving!
In summary, I think the AMOREMEO Kissable Salted Caramel Massage Gel is great, and it smells amazing! I think this massage gel lives up to its claims: it ticks all the boxes and its certainly Kissable. There is only one minor negative, it can leave your skin a little bit tacky, but a quick shower will sort that out. This massage gel is perfect for all over body massaging either with hands or a massaging tool and is a great way to relax and connect with your partner. If you are looking for a good massage gel that doesn’t break the bank, I think its ideal.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Sensual Massage Gel comes packaged in a simple 125ml pump bottle.
The bottle is hygienically sealed in a clear tamper-proof wrap which is always a nice bit of reassurance.
As with all massage gels, the fact that it comes in a pump bottle is of huge benefit as far as we are concerned. The last thing you want to be worrying about when using the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Sensual Massage Gel is spilling it, or trying to fit or remove a lid.
The bottle is a comfortable size to hold, and surprisingly doesn’t seem to get slippery during use.
It should be noted, (especially as it is NOT stated on the bottle, but IS stated on the website), that the massage gel is not compatible with condoms. Personally we think that this is pretty poor, and ideally the label on the bottle should be revised to make this clear.
Users should also be aware that this is a glycerine-based massage gel, so if you have any sensitivity, or wariness about this you should probably avoid this gel.
Out of habit we shook the bottle before use, just to ensure that all of the product was fully mixed.
At first I dispensed a small amount of the gel into the palm of my hand; the first thing that quickly became apparent is that this really isn’t a gel as much as we would expect it. This is very thin, to the extent that it will run, flow and drip, more like an oil. In fact the description on the bottle reads:
“Warming massage oil with excellent salted caramel flavour,. In a practical pump dispenser”
The Salted Caramel scent of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Sensual Massage Gel is actually pretty strong, but not in any way offensive, just pleasantly aromatic if you like the salted caramel scent.
It is classed as a “kissable” gel, so next was the taste test…
As above, it is described on the bottle as having an “excellent salted caramel flavour” – personally I think that is a bit of a stretch; it certainly has a salted caramel taste to it, but not something we would describe as “excellent”, or even particularly “tasty”. Instead the overwhelming flavour is that of the saccharin sweetener used in the product.
As a massage gel this worked really well on his skin, even coping well with body hair which can sometimes pose a problem for massages; gels tend to matt it, and oils tend to slick it, but the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Sensual Massage Gel went on smoothly and left the skin feeling firm and supple without feeling greasy like oils can. Even once the gel has been massaged into the skin it still feels slick enough to continue the massage without having to constantly reapply. I found this worked equally well on his back, chest, and genitals without any negative issues, although of course you do have to bear in mind that it is not condom friendly, so using it on the genitals does tend to then obstruct taking things further afterwards without resorting to a good wash down first.
Bizarrely the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Sensual Massage Gel is described (as are others in the range) as a “warming massage oil”, however neither of us found it had any warming effect at all; the only warmth felt was literally between my hands and his body, with no lingering warming sensation.
Overall, a great little massage gel with a nice salted caramel scent, but don’t going using it expecting to be giving your partner any oral attention afterwards unless you have a particularly (artificial) sweet tooth!
Overall rating 8/10
Tim Cash’s Review
Being a fan of massages, I thought that it would be fun to try out AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel. Usually, we use a plain massage oil, nice and functional, with no added excitement. This was a bit different, but we both love salted caramel, so we gave it a try.
The bottle has a look and feel of quality, chunky plastic, a well fitting lid and a nice simple label. The pump is suitable for the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel, pumping out the reasonable amounts nice and easily.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel is a bit more fluid than our usual massage oil, which did make it a bit messy, but there are times that you don’t want to worry about mess. The fluidity does make it easy to spread so a small amount goes a long way, though it does dry quickly so more needs to be added. As far as it goes for massage products, the massage gel is very smooth. I would not recommend this for a proper massage, but if you are just having some fun it does a good job. We did not notice any of the claimed warming property at all.
The aroma is strong, which is nice if you like salted caramel. The flavour is lovely. Licking it off my girlfriend is great fun. When the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel is spread over skin, it isn’t overpowering, but you do get a good taste. It can just be eaten, but the flavour is too strong pretty quickly, and there is a slight bitter aftertaste if you have too much. The aftertaste is not a problem unless you are eating lots of it.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel does dry slightly tacky, but not as much as I had expected, and it cleans off easily. We had put a towel down to minimise getting the gel on our bed and we did not notice any obvious stains from escaped drops.
I enjoyed the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel. So much so I didn’t get a return massage after massaging my girlfriend. It is not perfect for a good deep tissue massage, but it is good fun, tastes nice, smells great and is definitely worth considering for foreplay!

Thanks to Cara Sutra for sending me this AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel for review. I love both giving and receiving massages and I love salted caramel almost to the point of obsession so of course when I saw that this flavour could be combined with a relaxing massage I was very excited.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel comes in an okay looking bottle. It doesn’t look tacky but looks far from luxurious, it does the job though and I guess matches the price and really who’s going to be looking at the bottle during a massage anyway! The one good thing about the bottle though, is that it is a pump dispenser, no mess, no hassle, just pump out as much as you want and you’re good to go. In my opinion all lubes and massage gels/oils should come in a pump dispenser.
As this is called a gel I was expecting a gel like consistency but found that the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel is actually more like an oil, which is fine but just doesn’t match what it has been described as. When my husband and I tried this out on each other we decided just to go with a back massage each. We both found that a couple or three good pumps was enough to cover the whole back and last for about 10 mins. Neither of us have dry skin though and I feel that it would definitely be absorbed a lot quicker if you do have quite dry skin.
When this AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel is pumped out the first thing you notice, aside from cold gel hitting your back, is the amazing smell. It really does smell like caramel, and I imagine it’s what the bakery that makes my favourite salted caramel cookies must smell like. The smell is strong but not overpowering and it really does smell good enough to eat, good thing it’s kissable then right? Wrong! Both my husband and I agreed that this did not taste good at all. It definitely did not taste like salted caramel as I was excitedly hoping it would. When I asked my husband what he thought it tasted of his answer was that it tasted chemically which was my thoughts exactly. I also didn’t like the feel of it on my lips, as it’s an oil it’s very greasy and I just had to get it wiped off as quick as possible.
In use, however, this AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel worked fine. Receiving I found it to be relaxing, it felt quite greasy but absorbed well and didn’t leave me feeling like I needed to wash it off afterwards. Giving, I found it provided good glide over the skin and lasted long enough to give a decent massage before being absorbed into the skin. This is also meant to be a warming massage gel, which I discovered after reading the packaging after receiving a massage and I must admit I did not notice any warming sensation at all, I don’t think my husband did either.
In conclusion, it’s a decent enough massage gel for the price even if it’s more of an oil than a gel. You do get a good sized bottle and it does feel good and smell good. However for me I didn’t like the taste and didn’t feel any warming. I would recommend the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Massage Gel but only if you don’t plan on kissing or licking it off after and you just want a basic massage with no warming sensations.
Are you looking to make up a romantic gift box full of a variety of products to treat your lover this Christmas? Then the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel 125ml could be a suitable choice.
The bottle itself arrived sealed in plastic wrapping and is well presented with its bright golden label for an instant impressive look to the product. Easy application of the gel is possible thanks to the pump action feature which has clear plastic cap to cover over the pump.
A full massage is easily possible as the pump allows for an easy application of the gel. A palm sized amount is sufficient to begin with, before re-applying is required as the texture of the oil allows for a smooth but sticky feel to your skin. Despite the stickiness feel a long lasting massage is still possible to leave you feeling relaxed after enjoying the massage from the hands of your lover. The sweet smell of the caramel does leave a lovely lingering smell in the bedroom, to enjoy even after the massage has finished.
There is a sexual twist with the massage gel as it can be kissed or licked off your skin. This adds an extra element to the pleasure the gel has to offer. As you can indulge in providing a body massage and then enjoy the treats on offer as you get to taste the extremely delicious caramel of your naked lover bare skin. As this can lead to a lot of fun for both partners to participate in, as it add a twist of pleasure to your foreplay activities.
Overall the AMOREMEO Salted caramel Kissable Massage Gel 125ml from MEO would be an ideal gift to treat your lover this Christmas as you can offer a full sweet smelling relaxing massage that will create a romantic atmosphere during use of the gel. Or you can use the gel for some naughty massages, where you can kiss the gel of your lover body.
I will give the salted caramel massage gel a 8/10 it is a good massage oil that my wife enjoys the feel of during a massage. The only slightly negative thing I can say is the stickiness effect of the gel once applied to your skin. The delicious taste of the caramel is divine to enjoy, as I do love kissing the gel of my wife’s body.
The gel is available to buy from MEO for the sale price of €9.90. Thank you to the pleasure panel for sending me the caramel oil to review; this in no way influences my opinions, which are my own.
Nat and Tom’s Review
I was pleased to see the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel up for testing during October’s Pleasure Panel round as we had actually tried the vanilla version a couple of months ago and loved it. My partner definitely has a sweet tooth so I thought this flavour may be better suited to him than the other and I was pleased to be selected to put it through its paces and see whether I was right. Huge thanks to the lovely Cara and the people over at MEO!
The labelling for this AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is simplistic and inoffensive. I think it’s plain enough that it could be left out without drawing unwanted attention as it has no garish images or sexual implications on the bottle. It comes shrink wrapped to provide full assurance that it hasn’t been tampered with prior to arrival, which is something my partner and I both appreciate and it dispenses via a pump which is another bonus for us. Pump dispensers are more convenient to use in our opinion and prevent spills and mess.
We get through massage products ridiculously quickly in our house as we use them so often. We are in a long-distance relationship and like to give the other a massage at least once per visit. They play a huge part in our intimate relationship and they’re essential to us for sensual, sexual and comfort purposes. We find massage gels like this one are great for foreplay, aftercare or simply just connecting and spending time with each other skin to skin. They also come in handy for those irritating aches and pains that seem to appear from nowhere.
Scent wise, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought that the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel might be too sickly for me personally as I prefer softer, subtle fragrances but this wasn’t the case. It wasn’t overpowering or intense at all but the scent was definitely noticeable. The aroma of salted caramel is as sweet as one would expect and remains on the skin for a couple of hours after use if it isn’t washed away with soap.
It was surprisingly pleasant to me and I found myself thinking that it would be perfect for the festive season. My partner agreed and unsurprisingly he did prefer the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel to the vanilla version. He was more than willing to give the kissable aspect of the gel a trial and afterwards said that it was subtle but pleasant. There was no aftertaste whatsoever so I’m sure he wouldn’t mind getting some on his lips again in future massage sessions.
Consistency and texture can make or break a massage product for us and on this occasion, it made it. The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel passes our requirements although we wouldn’t argue with a slightly thicker product. It is not the thickest gel around and could do with a little more substance so it doesn’t instantly slide off the skin after application. We both thought it glided smoothly across the body, absorbed well and didn’t leave us feeling like we’d been dipped in grease.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel does have a faint sticky residue after use if it isn’t massaged in within an inch of its life but I don’t need to jump in the shower and rinse off afterwards. I think a thicker consistency could have prevented this minor sticky feeling that sometimes occurs so that would be an area we’d personally improve on for future flavors.
Overall, I can see us using the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel again. I still prefer the vanilla as that’s a favourite scent of mine, but I was satisfied with the odour of the caramel and wouldn’t mind having it massaged into me from time to time. It leaves the skin feeling nourished and soft after use and neither of us experienced any irritations whatsoever.
I would avoid using this on genitals (particularly vulvas) because it contains glycerin and could cause problems but it’s great for areas like the arms, backs, legs and chests.
A final thing that’s worth noting is the warming effect. The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel does warm up the skin upon application but lasts only a minute or two which could be disappointing for someone who’s interested in trying the product purely for that feature. If MEO could make that longer-lasting and add some more thickness to the gel then it would probably be perfect for us.
– Nat and Tom
This AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is designed for intimate massages which the bottle says is a warming massage oil. This is designed to be applied to someone and then because of the flavouring can be licked off again or allow a person to still be able to use their tongue without the issue of lubricant tastes.
The bottle of AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel looks ok, I wouldn’t say that it is anything special as far as things are concerned. It’s pretty straight to the point that it is warming and its in a practical pump dispenser which is a pro to it. Anything I find that has a pump dispenser is so much easier than a squeeze tube because it avoids mess that is unnecessary which I like!
Looking at the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel inside the bottle I expected it to be thicker but I can easily shake the liquid which is bizarre considering the name. This product contains glycerine which isn’t a good thing as it can potentially be a vaginal irritant for a lot of people which I think put me off.
One very important thing that needs to be noted is that the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel isn’t to be used with condoms which I only found out from the website. Considering this is designed for intimate massages I think this is something that should be included on the bottle.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel I found to be very smooth to put on, it has the same texture as baby oil. The colour on it is see through which was surprising as in the bottle, it looked a caramel brown. I didn’t find it sticky either just greasy like baby oil again.
It rubs well into the skin and I found the caramel to give me the warming effect as it says it would on the bottle, even used on my back or breasts this really did give an added affect with the warming particularly as it got me feeling more turned on.
This feels amazing for an intimate massage but I didn’t personally apply them to anything below my waist as it doesn’t seem to explain clearly whether this can be applied to sensitive areas or not so I avoided this as didn’t fancy lady bits on fire in case!
Overall, I found the flavour of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel to be amazing and the fact it has a pump dispenser but not much else. I would recommend this but more with an idea off that it’s better off as a massage oil and not a gel. I think the packaging and overall descriptions on the product have let the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel down massively.
Salted Caramel seems to be everywhere these days, from cookies, cakes, ice cream and even soft drinks, so the idea of the flavour being used at a Kissable Massage Gel is really the next inevitable step in the flavours journey to world domination. As a big fan of massage as part of foreplay, I was really happy that Cara had allowed me the opportunity to review the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel. The idea of adding a nice kissable or lickable flavour to the massage really increased the interest level.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel comes in quite a sturdy bottle that does not feel like it will break or leak and has a lid covering a simple pump. The inclusion of the lid is something that I really like on products like this, as a simple push top lid often can leak and these things can be a nightmare to clean up and remove, especially if they are odour heavy.
The details on the side of the bottle feel quite matter of fact and I find it interesting that the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is described as a warming gel. There’s nothing in the name to suggest this, but it is clearly stated on the side of the bottle. Without reading this, I perhaps would have been a little surprised, or even alarmed by any warming sensation during use.
The side of the bottle also describes the ingredients for the gel. The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel contains:
Glycerin, Water, Propylene Glycol, Caramel E150, Sodium Chloride and Sodium Saccharin.
The inclusion of glycerin could potentially be a problem to some, so I am surprised to see its inclusion. It can also lead to issues during penetration, so essentially ensures that for many, this is an external massage gel only and not to be used in any lubricant fashion.
Once opened, the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel has a clear and colourless appearance, and I found it to be a little waterier than I was expecting, especially considering the word gel in the product title.
Overall however this wasn’t an issue and the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel did spread with ease during massage. The gel initially provided a moderate amount of slide and after only a handful of strokes, it didn’t really offer as much fluidity to the massage as I would expect from a more traditional oil or product.
The smell of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is quite strong and seemed to linger during use for quite a while. This adds to the flavour/helps to keep the flavour at the front of your thoughts during use. The flavour is quite intense, and I have to say I was a little surprised here. I was fully expecting it to taste a little chemically during use, but I actually found them both fairly pleasant, and obviously the added pleasure of a tongue during massage really adds to the excitement. It really came into its own during nipple play. The salted caramel flavour could become sickly after too much use; however, the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel isn’t being used as an entire meal, is it.
I found during use that the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel was warming. This was a sensation that I found a little bizarre, as it was warming both on the body of the person being massaged, and the person giving the massage. This becomes a little strange if you are licking or kissing the massage gel. I am not sure that I liked the sensation of my mouth and tongue being warmed during use and it left me a little put off using this gel.
As for clean-up (if you are not already licked or kissed clean), the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel washed off with relative ease and left no residue on the skin during use. It had no lasting effect in terms of sensitivity or reaction.
In summary I would say that I was not blown away by the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel but I did like the packaging. It certainly did not overpower in terms of chemical flavour or anything like that during use, giving a pleasant taste.
I was not a massive fan of the need for any warming sensation during use and I would suggest that this is not a replacement for other massage oils during body massage, as it simply did not provide enough lubrication for this over a sufficient period of time. You would constantly need to reapply throughout the massage. The warming sensation was pleasant and the flavour did add a new element to our massage routine.
Overall, I feel that the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel fell into the more novelty category for me than the serious massage oil replacement category.
Louise Lace’s Review
I am a recent convert to salted caramel products having fallen in love with a nutty salted caramel protein bar which I demolish as part of my gym routine. I should probably eat less and train more but hey ho that’s my issue not yours. I digress, I requested the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel to review from Cara Sutra as I have recently been indulging in regular sports massages and having learned a few tricks from my sports therapist I have been treating my husband to the odd massage. We currently use baby oil, which does the job but isn’t something that I would want to lick off him!
I willingly volunteered to wrap my lips around the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel to see if I could sweeten up my side of our massage sessions.
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is packaged in a pump dispenser tube with subtle branding and a clear plastic cap to prevent spillage. The pump dispenser bottle has a cosmetic look to it and although it states kissable gel and salted caramel on the label, if you were to leave it on the bedside table after use it wouldn’t look too out of place.
The bottle label lists the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel ingredients as: Glycerin, Water, Propylene Glycol, Caramel E150, Natriumchlorid, Sodium Saccarin. This is an external product for massage use and as it is not a lubricant and shouldn’t be used as such so the Glycerin shouldn’t cause too much of a problem.
The product bio claims the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is a “warming massage gel with an excellent salted caramel flavour.”
Keen to put the claims to the test, hubby and I whipped out our Sheets of San Francisco fluidproof duvet cover and lit a candle or 6 to help get us in a sexy mood. With hubby face-down on the bed and me straddled across his thighs, I activated the pump dispenser and dispensed a splodge on my palm.
First thoughts: the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is not very gel like. It is very runny, almost like an oil. I started with 2 pumps of the product on my palm and quickly rubbed them together to stop the gel from dripping everywhere. It feels very soft on the skin and warmed quickly. I began with a few long strokes over my husbands back, the gel spread quite well and my hands moved across his skin easily. After just a minute or two the gel had soaked into his skin and my hands began to drag, this was a little disappointing as I was not expecting a massage gel to absorb into the skin. Before I pumped extra gel onto my hands I took the opportunity to test out the taste of the gel on his skin.
Wowza! Caramel it certainly is, it is rather sweet with a slight tang. I found the taste to be quite moreish, I wouldn’t go so far as pouring it on my desserts but I did have fun slurping my tongue up and down his spine.
After adding more gel to his back, I was able to continue with the massage but in all honesty, I would probably reach for a bottle of massage oil over the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel for future massages. That said, the kissability of the gel did add a fun element to the massage and for that reason I would rate this product a 7 out of 10.
Thank you to Cara and MEO for sending me the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel free of charge for hubby and I to review.
Miss Doll’s Review
I’m so glad that Cara Sutra sent me the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel for review! I am a big fan of kissable products so I thought I would like it.
I didn’t know the brand MEO at all and so I decided to do a little research on their website. It gives me the idea of a brand targeted more towards men and couples than most “women only” brands I knew before and that intrigued me: some products look so innovative, like “The Milker Automatic Stroker Machine”: I’ve heard of nothing similar before!
At a first glance, the packaging of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel didn’t make me crazy. Nothing particularly chic or girly like you would expect from other sexual wellness brands targeted at women or couples. But I suppose reducing the wow factor of the packaging is the only choice MEO had to keep the price tag low. The bottle is something that doesn’t really matter unless you need to give is as a gift, right?
The scent of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is sweet; strong but not overpowering. It really smells like caramel! The product’s texture is actually quite liquid so it’s not sticky as other brands’ scented massage gels. That’s where the pump dispenser comes in handy: no spills, and only the right amount of product. I found one or two pumps are more than enough for a back massage.
Another important thing I noticed is that my skin, which is usually very dry, feels good after application of the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel. I found it absorbs very fast that’s not perhaps the best for a massage, but it’s a plus when applied as a kissable body lotion.
Now, let’s talk about the taste: it’s sweet but not nauseating. I found it quite subtle, but perhaps that’s just me.
Overall the AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is a nice product at a reasonable price. It comes in vanilla scent\taste too – I think I’ll also try the other flavour available!

Luv Bunny’s Review
I’d like to thank Cara at The Pleasure Panel for kindly allowing me to test this AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel, on what is the first time I have tried one of their products.
The pump bottle of AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel comes sealed with plastic wrapping. The labelling is fairly plain, though it does clearly say it contains ‘Kissable Massage Gel’. Hence no guesswork is involved as to what it may contain.
The pump dispenses smoothly, and the lid clicks onto the bottle keeping it secure. The labelling says that the gel is ‘dermatologically tested’ (though it is not made clear how). Ingredients include Glycerin, Water, Propyleneglcol, Caramel E150, Natriumchlorid, and Sodium Saccarin.
Consistency & Feel
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel is more watery than gel-like in my opinion. When I pump it directly onto my forearm it runs and drips straight away. As it is fairly watery, during a longer massage it will need to be reapplied as it is likely to dry out. For this reason, I’d say it’s more suited to foreplay rather than a proper massage session. For those that are susceptible to yeast infections or Urinary Tract Infections, I’d say it’d be best to avoid contact with genitals, as it contains glycerine. Whilst glycerine is not a sugar, it can be readily converted to sugar by yeast.
The caramel flavour is strong. I’d say it smells better than it tastes as it is a bit too saccharin-like and overpowering. It doesn’t feel overly sticky, though it did to some degree. It is easily washed off, though my keen sense of smell could still detect the scent of caramel. Hmm, I can smell like Belgian waffles!
The AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel smells yummy, though it doesn’t feel as good as I’d hoped. It’s too watery for a lengthy massage, and will dry out quickly, leaving your skin feeling slightly sticky. For these reasons I’d rate it 5/10.
