Inquisitor Lyra’s mission to uncover a growing cult presence on Lucid Prime had been an abject failure. Weeks of monitoring the local populace had gotten her nowhere. Well, nowhere with uncovering a cult, anyway – but she had been getting friendly with a girl called Rael at a seedy bar. Which of course, is where her investigations were now focussed, for reasons she would bullshit to her superior at a later date if needed.
Rael was a deeply religious girl—or at least Lyra assumed that was the reason why she kept telling her to wait for tonight. So far, she’d gotten a peck on the cheek at best. But tonight, Rael had tantalisingly promised Lyra could come back with her and stay the night.
After their usual few drinks, Rael got up, and coyly beckoned Lyra to follow. She didn’t live far from the bar, just a short walk through the misty night. As Lyra trailed behind her, a strange prickling sensation travelled along her spine. She couldn’t explain it; maybe it was just butterflies, being ready for a bit of action after months of nothing. She followed Rael down the stairs and into her underground apartment. It was a small room with a bed and a desk. Rael was not a highborn member of any special class here on Lucid Prime; Lyra hadn’t expected much.
“This is my first time,” Rael shyly announced. “I’m really shy. Would you mind terribly if I put this on you?” she begged, as she pulled out a fabric scrap and held it up to Lyra’s head.
Lyra shut her eyes and nodded as Rael moved behind her and tied the scrap on. After that, Rael led Lyra to the bed, and they sat down next to each other. Rael then began unbuttoning Lyra’s blouse with shaky hands. “You’re wearing so many layers,” she giggled.
“I know”. Lyra shrugged. “It’s standard issue Inquisitor armour. Can’t be too careful!”
Oh, the irony. Finally, Rael had her stripped down to nothing.
Naked. Vulnerable.
She could feel the process of transformation starting. Now all she needed was a little passion to accelerate things. She grabbed Lyra’s arms gently and lay her down on the bed, as she embraced her for one final kiss in her human form.
Lyra felt the weight of Rael on top of her, tongues entwined. Rael was quite the kisser, and with every passing moment she seemed to be probing deeper. This girl had an enormously long tongue, she thought. Further and further Rael probed her mouth with enthusiasm. Lyra started to panic, but her own tongue was now firmly pushed down as the mass of writhing strong muscle inside her mouth began to fill it entirely.
The veil suddenly dropped, and her psyker abilities returned full strength. She knew exactly what Rael was. A split-second later, she heard a piercing screech as Rael revealed her true self, with chitinous armour plates and extra limbs bursting forth from the weak human flesh. Rael had birthed into a Genestealer.
Lyra was pinned with the slimy beast on top of her -and as if that wasn’t enough, slowly but surely she was choking from the relentless tongue. She tried kicking and squirming. In desperation, she tried a psychic attack, but she was in such a state that all she could do was listen in on the creature’s mental screams. Echoes of Rael could be heard in there. She felt her own consciousness begin to fade, and figured if this was her last breath, she might as well as enjoy some part of it.
She would give herself fully to Rael, the girl she had fallen in love with, no matter what form she took. In surrender she spread her legs wide, and the beast withdrew its tongue, flipping around. It could read her thoughts now. It skitted down the bed, then turned back to face her again. Lyra stared into its eyes, then arched her back and thrust her hips forward, fully embracing the warmth she felt at the aching apex of her thighs.
