First things first. I was already impressed by the really classy looking packaging for the Sensuva ON Natural Arousal Balm For Her. It’s not very discreet, having the words ‘Natural Arousal for Her’ on the front, but aside from that, there’s nothing else that would give away what the balm is for. There’s instructions and the ingredients on the packaging and just a few key features of the balm.

The stick itself really does look like a lip balm and there’s also nothing on the stick that reveals its other purpose, which makes it completely discreet so you can have it out anywhere and no one would be none the wiser! It’s also pretty classy in appearance with its black and hot pink colour scheme, I’m not a fan of pink that much but I really like the way it looks.

To get to the balm, you have to twist the stick up and that’s easily done, but I found when I wanted to twist it back down, it wouldn’t actually do that at all, no matter how hard I tried. So I had to push the balm back down into the stick which was just messy and irritating.

The smell of the Sensuva ON Natural Arousal Balm For Her is lovely, it has a fairly strong cinnamon scent to it and if I’m being perfectly honest here, I couldn’t stop smelling it! It also feels much like an oil when I rubbed it between my fingers to test the consistency and it left my skin feeling really soft and smooth, which surprised me as I wasn’t expecting it to.

Now for how it tastes.. I would really advise against using this if your partner wants to participate in oral sex after you’ve applied it because..well..it hurts. I only applied a tiny bit to my finger, and I licked my finger after the balm was massaged into my skin. There’s barely any taste but then a few seconds later, my tongue was on fire. It was burning a lot, like I’d eaten some really spicy food and it took forever for the feeling to dissipate, around 40 minutes or so. I was in pain to say the least..

After my tongue had stopped burning, I didn’t feel all that confident about using it on my clitoris, but I had to give it the old college try so I applied a tiny bit, massaging it in slightly. It took a few seconds for it to work, and when it did, I was liking the how warm it felt. But then about 5 minutes later, it started to feel like I had some Deep Heat muscle rub on my clitoris. Which is a cream that makes your skin feel like it’s on fire if you didn’t know.. But I didn’t wipe it off, I decided to masturbate instead to see if the balm actually intensified sensations and made my orgasms stronger.

So, while I was trying to ignore the O Burning Clit O Fire, I let my vibrator do the work for me. And the balm actually does work the way its supposed to. My clitoris did feel more sensitive than it usually is and I had an orgasm in literally 5 minutes flat. Which is something that never happens to me any more, orgasms usually take me 15 minutes or more to achieve.

I thought it might have been a fluke so tried it a few more times over the course of a week and it was the same situation, just stronger and quicker orgasms. You might be wondering how I dealt with the burning for that long but it actually grew on me, to be honest. In the end, I kind of liked the way it burned, it’s like my clitoris just adjusted to the balm and decided that it liked the sensation. The fact that the balm is long lasting is both a blessing and a curse for me. It means I’m burning for longer, but it also means I have a longer play session if I feel like denying my orgasm for longer, which is something I often do.

And I think personally I’ve come to like the Sensuva ON Natural Arousal Balm For Her because when I want to masturbate, I find myself searching for the balm and when I can’t find it because it’s stuck down the side of my bed somewhere, I have a mini panic and get worried that I won’t be able to use it again. I think this balm is like cheesecake, an acquired taste.
