If you ask me why I decided to become a sex toy reviewer, I’ll answer: it’s because I’m constantly in search of something that will make my love life merrier and more playful. I feel like sex toys play a big role in my relationship: they’ve changed the way we perceive sex as a couple, bringing to us the excitement of having always a new entry in our bedroom to try: different colourful designs and different sensations.
That’s why I am almost addicted with sex toys targeted at couples: colourful vibrating cock rings, blindfolds, flavoured or warming lubes and massage oils, or kissable body paint.
So, I was very excited to try a new couples vibrator: the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples. I have always needed clitoral stimulation to orgasm during intercourse. Cock rings in my experience didn’t always pinpoint the right spot, and I always had in my hand a mini vibe during sex with my OH, leading to him always asking to switch off or put down that damn, noisy thing. I knew the Satisfyer pressure waves were the ideal thing for my clitoris, so I couldn’t wait to test them during intercourse!
At a first glance the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples looks handy and compact and it has a classy look that could appeal my guy too, since he is not a fan of realistic\semi-realistic toys that look just a little too explicit for his tastes; plus, the USB magnetic charger immediately woke up the computer nerd inside him.
I found the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples control buttons to be quite intuitive and I soon learned they allow you to control vibration and suction separately, and we realized we had in our hands infinite possible combinations to play with, that means hours and hours of fun: that’s exactly what we were looking for and expecting from this toy!
The clitoral stimulation from Satisfyer’s pressure waves technology didn’t fail to impress me as usual, while I felt like the internal part that sits inside my vagina was pushing my OH’s penis towards my G spot, like if it was suddenly angled differently than before using the toy, even in the same position. Although, I understand our bodies are different and maybe it’s just me!
My guy said the vibration definitely feels pleasurable on his penis, but what he loved most from this toy is the “tighter” feeling he could get
I was surprised to not find lube stuck into the suction hole and the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples was super easy to clean, since it’s waterproof and I could thoroughly rinse it with warm water. We really loved it!

Thanks to Cara Sutra’s sex toy tester program, I was so excited to receive the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples by mail, which came sooner rather than later.
This was another “first” couples toy for my partner and I so we both could hardly wait.
The Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples came in a box with two hygienic seals on the opening part and on the bottom which was comforting to see. Inside you will find the Satisfyer, the user manual and the magnetic USB charging cable.
The USB charger has two magnetic contacts that you have to line up with on the bottom of the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples with the cable.
Without hesitation I than plugged the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples right into my USB port on my laptop, pressed and held the on button which lit up and charged it. The LED light will than blink while its charging and can take up to 8 hours to fully charge
That wasn’t the case with mine, it was basically fully charged when I received it so I charged it for a good ten minutes and than I was good to go. My hubby had took a Ultima 8 Maxx Ejaxx capsule 30 minutes prior so it was perfect timing for the both of us to get down to business.
The Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples is very soft to the touch and is actually a pretty classy looking toy. It is made of body safe silicone white in color and the control buttons are in a rose pink.
I must say there are all kinds of functions from 11 pressure wave programs that have air pulse technology and 10 different vibrations along with a + and – button to adjust the speed to your liking.
The suction and vibration can be done at separate times or at the same time, so many benefits in one toy.
The Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples has a whisper mode which is perfect since I live in a basement apartment of a house with a family of 7 above me so I felt more at ease while using it.
It is also wireless and holds a charge of approximately 70 minutes. Another bonus is that it is totally waterproof too so perfect for the shower or in the pool/hot tub.
Honestly I am in love with this toy already, so many functions, speeds, and bonuses perfect for me to use solo or combined with my hubby.
So my hubby and I got started, I got out my lube and started off with the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples on my own and was exploring all the lovely pressure sensations. The highest speed is the one I chose which was quite strong and than I tested out the vibrations and liked the pulsating one the best, so I stuck with those settings and that’s when my partner got involved.
Now here comes the fun part, it was a bit tricky when hubby was trying to enter me. I had to have a good grip on the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples and keep it in place without letting go from all the excitement.
This was just totally awesome, I mean the suction feeling on the clitoris was so tense and the vibration inside along with my hubby was so orgasmic.
The hubby liked the vibration that he felt on his shaft which helped him reach the top along with me just amazed at how great this felt for me too, pure bliss is all I can say.
I literally felt like a sex goddess as I am one to hardly have orgasms and need a lot of foreplay to reach an orgasmic state if I do.
For my hubby and I as first time users of a couples toy we sure lucked out on the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples. It was perfect, just right for us and we are excited to try it next time round in the shower or underwater. Satisfyer has built quite the reputation in the sex toy world for its style of toys, so when we were approached by Satisfyer and asked whether we would like to review their latest Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator we jumped at the chance. The pulsed air fun of a Satisfyer but now for two!
Packaging
The Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator comes packaged in an elegant looking cardboard box, simply adorned with the name of the product and a nice embossed glossy image too.
As is the way with any of the Satisfyer range that we’ve experienced the box is sealed with a tamper-proof hygiene seal, so you can be assured that your new luxury toy has not had anyone else interfering with it!
Unboxing
Once the hygiene seal is split the box can be opened and the internal plastic tray slid out. Inside this you get the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator itself, along with the magnetic charging cable, and an instruction booklet.
Initial Thoughts
The Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator is very well made and has the feel of a luxury item with its smooth silicone surface and positive feeling controls.
The internal ‘spike’ looks quite aggressive when you first see it, but due to the smooth silicone used it is actually reasonably soft and flexible. Even the ‘point’ is not uncomfortable.
In terms of size, it is perhaps slightly smaller than a ‘normal’ Satisfyer but this means that it is small enough to not get “in the way” but still large enough for the controls to be manageable.
The first thing you need to do with the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator is charge it; this is via a magnetically-attached USB charging cable. This connection method is very convenient as it means that the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples itself only has two flush metal ‘studs’ on it that the charger snaps onto. Although it may look like a precarious arrangement with the charging lead just ‘balanced’ on the end of the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couples, it actually seemed to make pretty good contact and we never had any issues with it disconnecting mid-charge.
Like a lot of rechargeable items you don’t actually get the USB charger with the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator, just a suitable cable, so if you don’t have a spare USB charger bear this in mind. That said a charger (at least 500mA rated) can be picked up for not very much from a variety of sources including local supermarkets and popular online marketplaces.
In terms of charging the instruction booklet states that approximately 1.5 hours of charge will fully charge it and give you approximately 70 minutes of playtime.
Features & Details
The Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator has four control buttons arranged in a pair of eye-pleasing oval shapes on its surface, (also just visible at the bottom of this photo are the two metal charging ‘studs’):
The topmost on/off button controls the activation of the “pressure wave stimulation”; this can then be increased or decreased through eleven levels of intensity by use of the larger +/- button forming the inner oval.
In addition to this the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator offers vibrations which are intended for g-spot & penile stimulation via the internal “spike”. There are controlled via the wave (~) button, and once activated can be stepped through ten different intensities and patterns.
This button arrangement works reasonably well, in that the “pressure wave” intensity can be adjusted even during use without too much hassle. However we did find that the vibration setting needed to be treated much more as a “set it and forget it”, since trying to adjust it during sex can be incredibly fiddly.
How It Feels
It is highly recommended that you use the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator with a good water based lubricant, (being fully waterproof you can actually use it in the bath or shower, in which case the lubricant might be less important, but since it is intended as a “couples” toy space might be a premium (unless you are lucky enough to have an extra-large bath!)).
The ‘clitoral opening’ on the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator is reasonably large, so you don’t need pinpoint accuracy when positioning it, but you will want it to stay in-situ once you get it positioned.
Without a doubt this is a toy that requires practice; it does require that you ‘arrange yourself’ just right so that you can position the suction nozzle around your clitoris, whilst at the same time comfortably positioning the g-spot ‘spike’ inside yourself. Once you’ve achieved all that the next challenge is keeping it all in place whilst being penetrated (after all, that’s what this particular Satisfyer model is all about!)
We found that this required many more hands in many more places than we were usually accustomed to, both during initial penetration, but also to either re-position, or hold, the Satisfyer during sex too.
We were determined though, and we did persevere, and tried a number of positions to see what would work best.
We found that any sort of rear entry vaginal position (i.e. doggy etc.) provided the best access to the Satisfyer controls as she was able easily reach the buttons etc. with her hand during sex. However the downside of this is that the Satisfyer is effectively ‘hanging free’, and therefore actually requires permanent attention, with her holding it in place. This can be very frustrating should you lose positioning or pressure right when you want it the most!
We actually found that missionary worked the best for us, once we got the positioning correct. This does somewhat mean that all of the controls of the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator become “set and forget” as it ends up sandwiched between you, but this actually turned out to be the most comfortable, and with the additional pressure holding the Satisfyer in place, also the most effective!
My husband had been wary of how the g-spot spike would feel against him when he was penetrating me, but in the end he said that the ‘spike’ was soft and smooth enough that he didn’t really notice it (even with the vibrations on); however having him AND something else inside me at the same time did add a certain amount of arousal for both of us!
Cleaning
As the entire Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator is waterproof, and constructed of silicone and ABS plastic cleaning is quite straight forward. You could immerse the entire unit to wash it, but the silicone “clitoral nozzle” is also removable from the body of the toy, and I found that it was usually only this that required cleaning. I’m sure the toy would not be damaged in any way from full immersion, but it terms of drying it I found it a lot easier just to regularly clean the nozzle, and occasionally wash the whole unit.
Summary
Having enjoyed previous incarnations of the Satisfyer range I had really looked forward to sharing at least some of that experience with my husband. Yes, it is a bit fiddly, and does take a bit of practice to get it just right, but when you do… it is worth the perseverance!
If all you are looking for is the Satisfyer’s style of “pressure wave” clitoral stimulation then without a doubt there are better models out there for you that will do a better job more easily.
However as a couples toy the Satisfyer Pro 4 Couple’s Vibrator offers something that none of the other Satisfyers do, which is that shared experience.
It’s not something we would use every time, partly due to the fiddle-factor, but also because we like variety, and if I was looking for something to use by myself I would not be reaching for this either.
However, as an occasional use item, just to add that bit of difference to your intimate times with your partner I found that this worked very well for me and look forward to using it again soon.
