Another month rolls round, and another fantastic sex toy tester offering from Cara with a whole load of different treats to choose from. Having looked through and given the option of a number of different things that tickled my fancy, I was really happy to be chosen to test out the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator. This thing seriously looks the business and from the reports that I have read online about it, by all accounts it truly lives up to all expectations.
Having tried a number of different clitoral stimulators before from both Satisfyer and Womanizer, I know that clitoral stimulation really is my bag. Over the last few years, these two brands have come to dominate the field, with more recently LELO and other brands beginning to challenge.
I was intrigued after reading around the internet for details about the “Next Generation” aspect of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator. What had they really changed and updated to make this thing even better than the previous generation?
Well, it seems that they created a focus group of some 250 women (lucky them) to give feedback and suggested improvements for the product. This then allowed them to make the improvements that they absolutely knew that people would want. A good example of this, and taken from their marketing material is that 98.7% of the women interviewed said that they would prefer a wider tip on the device, and therefore this has been introduced. I really like this idea that they have listened to the focus group and really targeted changes to make sure it makes as many knees tremble and lips curl as possible.
So, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator arrived and was unwrapped. As I’d been made aware during selection, it was marked as a sample unit for testing -so did not come in the usual retail packaging, but rather just in a plastic pouch along with a charging cable. Therefore no real comment from me on the usual packaging.
For those new to clitoral stimulation toys of this type, essentially, they fit snugly around the clitoris to put a suction type effect on to the clitoris that provides an oh so intense sensation to bring you to orgasm in an oh so unsubtle and rapid fashion.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator was a little bigger than I was expecting, but in comparison to the Womanizer products that I have used before, it really fit well in the hand. The toy is 6.5 inches long with a curved ergonomic design that makes it much easier to keep a hold of and in place. The Womanizer that I own is quite wide and a little bit awkward to hold at the right angle and to get my hand around.
This Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator is rose gold in colour and quite pleasant in appearance, made from hard ABS plastic, with the end tip made from a soft body safe silicone material. At the bottom of the toy is a couple of magnetic charging points that make plugging this thing in a doddle. The USB charging cable simply clips into position, and once full charged it provides over two hours of fun. The magnetic charging points also allow the toy to be a sealed waterproof unit, so that bath time or shower time fun can be had as you desire. It is quite light in the hand, not too light that it feels flimsy or cheap, but just a well-balanced toy that feels good to hold for as long as you need to.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator only has three simple buttons, to make using it a really simple task. A power button, which when pressed down, starts the toy on its lowest power setting and a low rumbling hum ensues. It also has a power up and power down button, that allows you to cycle through the 11 different power intensities. To power back off again, you simply hold down the power button for a couple of seconds and it powers down.
To use the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator, I placed a small amount of water-based lube around the end tip of the toy, I find that this gives a slightly tighter seal, and increases the sensation that the toy provides. I then set to action and powered on at the lowest setting. I am happy to say that I am amongst the 98.7% of women that would prefer the wider feature in the tip of the toy compared with previous generations, as a result this toy really fit well and felt like it covered everywhere I needed. It did this without losing the intensity of the sensation and without feeling that it was more spaced out.
The wider tip really was a win with this Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator and made sure I was feeling positive about the toy on the lowest rumble and before I had even gone through any of the power settings. I found that the toy itself was a lot quieter than I was expecting, even when cycling up through the settings, it moves from a purring cycle type noise, then as you reach the top power setting more of a consistent hum, either way, none of these settings is too loud that you would be worried about it.
So, down to use. It really, and I mean, really, hit the spot. And, when I say it hit the spot, I mean it HIT it, and when I say HIT it, I mean again, and again, and again!!! It took only an embarrassing short amount of time to make me orgasm, it was so intense. I found that I could get to level 5 if I went working up through the settings before I really couldn’t take any more and this thing did its magic. The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator really came into its own, with how quickly it worked, and how it didn’t give any sensation of numbness, that I could just keep going and going and reaching the multiple orgasms that I find quite difficult with a traditional vibrator or rabbit type toy.
If I powered this thing up and started using it on the higher settings, it was game over, very, very quickly. The sensation is INTENSE!!
Once finished with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator (eventually), it took a lot for me to power it down and calm myself down. I gave it a quick clean. The Satisfyer is waterproof, so no worries running it under some warm water and then cleaning down the silicone tip using a simple generic sex toy cleaner and away it goes into the drawer till the next time (which I imagine, will not be a long time away).
All in all, this thing is fantastic. Although some may consider it an expensive toy at pushing £65, it really does deliver, and in comparison to the Womanizer range (which are also brilliant), it is good value. The changes that they have made from series one to two are well thought out and really do make this thing effective at what it is meant to achieve.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Clitoral Stimulator is simple to use, simple to clean and with the amount of use I feel that this thing will be getting, a fantastic 5-year warranty is a nice extra touch for peace of mind. With how quick this toy can allow you to reach orgasm, it can be a quick grab and go toy, with minimum fuss in comparison with a penetrating type vibrator.
A resounding yes, yes, yes!

This has to be one of the hardest reviews I have ever written. I’ve written a fair few in my time, mostly on adult toys, but never has one challenged me so much as this review for the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation.
The ‘Next Generation’ part is important to point out. Originally I didn’t take any notice of it and on reading other people’s reviews of the Satisfyer Pro 2, I was confused when they mentioned there was not a button to take you back to the previous setting. I had already used the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation and knew that on this one, there was indeed an up and a down button that allowed you to flick between settings. That appears to be the only difference I have noticed between the Next Generation model and the Satisfyer Pro 2 model.
For the record, I don’t normally read other people’s reviews on the toy I am currently reviewing until after I have reviewed it. As I have already said though, I found this review particularly hard to write and therefore needed some inspiration.
I was over the moon to be selected to review this toy for the Pleasure Panel. For a long time now I have had my eye on the Satisfyer range, opting for it over the similar Womanizer range. It’s not a particularly pricey toy as far as sex toys go, retailing at around £70 on most websites, but it’s money I don’t have and would not have for the foreseeable future. Admittedly, I think £70 is a lot of money but I am perfectly aware there are much more expensive sex toys out there. Generally you get what you pay for.
So after repeatedly exclaiming my thanks to Cara (and probably harassing her a bit with it in my excitement), it finally arrived. Discreet and safe as ever. I knew it would need a full charge before using and usually this is for longer than it would normally take to charge, so I immediately broke the hygiene seal (which I was really pleased to see) and put it on charge.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation has magnetic charging pins. The USB lead simply attaches to the magnetic pins in quite a sturdy fashion. I have decided this is my preferred method of charging. I’ve heard people complain about magnetic charging pins but I think they are a really good way of ensuring the toy is waterproof. To be honest, I am not a fan of silicone plugs that cover charging ports to make a toy waterproof. They don’t stay in very well and make me nervous when cleaning or using the toy in water. When the charging lead is USB I usually plug it into my USB mains adaptor rather than my laptop.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation came with an instruction manual which informed me the initial charge may take up to eight hours, which is pretty much what I left it for. Usually it will take only two hours to charge. The manual is clear and informative, providing details on cleaning, charging and using your Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation.
To use the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation, you hold the small button to turn it on and off. It starts on the lowest ‘suction’ level and you can use the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the settings. It’s best to place the oval head over your clitoris before turning it on to ensure it is in the correct position. You may also use a little water-based lube on the head if required, but not silicone lube as it will damage the silicone head. I found that too much water-based lube prevented the head from forming a proper seal so I recommend only using a tiny bit.
This is where my review becomes harder to write. Did the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation make me orgasm? Yes, only once. Believe me, I have tried to orgasm with it on many separate occasions. The main problem was I kept becoming overly sensitive after a while which made me need to stop. Yet the lowest setting wasn’t always enough for me. You see my problem?
Over the years I have discovered that I am perhaps more sensitive in that area than others so I shouldn’t be particularly surprised by this. I know the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation has become very popular and I can see why. It just didn’t live up to my expectations sadly.
That being said, the sensation it did deliver was extremely pleasant. A few times I happily laid there with it on a lower setting and just enjoyed the sensation it delivered. It didn’t necessarily make me orgasm, but it made me feel really good and that in itself is almost as good as orgasming in my opinion. On these occasions I was not left frustrated and upset that I couldn’t orgasm. I felt relaxed and happy which meant an awful lot to me.
To clean the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation I removed the silicone oval head, sprayed it with toy cleaner and then washed it thoroughly. To remove the head just carefully pull it off the ABS body. It is recommended you clean it after every use as there are a few nooks and crannies that could potentially hide body fluid, lube and bacteria. It being completely waterproof you can wash the ABS plastic body if necessary.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is an innovative toy in my opinion. I know innovative is an overused word in this industry but it is an accurate description here. The use of suction is so different, it really is a breakthrough to new realms of sexual pleasure. Whilst it didn’t live up to my expectations I fully realise that is probably due to my over-sensitive anatomy and I wholeheartedly believe it would be incredible for most people.
Quite simply, if you struggle from over-sensitivity like I do then it is probably not for you!
That being said, I still found it extremely pleasant to use and I will definitely be using it regularly when I need to just feel damn good in myself (no pun intended, honest!). That is why I am giving the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation an 8/10.
