Packaging & Presentation

The box for the RO-ZEN itself is in the typical Rocks Off style; there is a white card sleeve which is blank except for the product name, which slides off the actual toy box. The RO-ZEN box beneath this sleeve has a clear window to the front, through which you can see the product sat inside. There is various bit of info about the RO-ZEN on the outside of this box, such as an overview of the use, bullet points with information, battery best before date and a diagram of how to wear and insert.

In The Box

The Rocks Off RO-ZEN also comes with a black satin-feel drawstring bag, marked with the Rocks Off branding in purple.

The RO-ZEN is battery operated, there is an N battery included so you can get going right away. Just be sure to remove the little paper disc which prevents accidental operation during transit. My battery must have been a bit weak when it arrived though, as after one play I had to put in a new N battery. Luckily I have a ‘sex toys stash’ of batteries and after inserting a Duracell one (the one provided was another brand) it was back to full performance again.

The main material of the RO-ZEN is a velvety soft silicone. My/our RO-ZEN is black in colour, I don’t think there are other colours available for this product yet. At the base of the butt plug part there is a RO-80 bullet vibrator inserted, which is removable. It’s one of the newer versions of RO-80 bullet vibe which has 7 functions.

Waterproof

As this is a waterproof sex toy, it’s really easy to keep completely clean and to wash between uses. You could also have fun with it in the bath or shower, although due to the cock ring area it’s easier to use in a dry environment, we found. The rings are also pretty fiddly to put on someone else, it was easier and safer for him to fit them on to himself. No testicle-popping, please. The material does stretch to fit any size man/penis/testicles but it’s also fairly snug, in order to provide that feeling of tight yet comfortable security around the base of the penis and around the testicles.

This silicone, waterproof sex toy is only compatible with water based lubricants too, so inserting the butt plug part is definitely easier on dry land as you can use a lube then, which won’t simply wash off in the bath or shower. You could use a hybrid lube, if you were really intent on getting those aquatic kicks.

Measurements

The RO-ZEN measures 5.5 inches in length, when laid out flat. That is, from the first ring to the back curve of the butt plug. The unstretched diameter of the cock shaft cock ring is 1.2 inches, while the unstretched diameter of the testicles cock ring measures 1.4 inches – slightly larger. These do stretch to accommodate you regardless of size. Unless you’re some sort of fairy story giant, I guess.

The insertable length of the butt plug part is 2.8 inches, while the maximum circumference of it, with the bullet vibe inserted, is 4 inches.

During Use

We used the RO-ZEN together, in bed, on a few occasions. Each time we found the same pros and the same cons. My man is a long time fan of the Rocks Off bullet vibrators, particularly the RO-80, and he enjoys it stimulating him around his anus, up his shaft and over his testicles.

Cons

The silicone material means you can’t use a longer lasting lube like silicone lubricant when you want to take this toy into the bath or shower
When using the RO-ZEN during couples sex, the butt plug part could slip out, and did so, quite regularly. Maybe this wouldn’t happen with a, erm… smaller sized man. Or if you have particularly gentle sex.
It’s incredibly easy to switch on the vibrations in the butt plug part when you’re merely inserting the plug.
Not really a con, but the nodules on the perineum strap area apparently didn’t really add that much stimulation during use.

Summary

As you can see, the RO-ZEN is a wonderful idea, a great product in reality, with a few small issues that don’t write the toy off exactly – and could be fixed in future versions. When he is using it on his own, the main problem of it slipping out is completely gotten rid of.
