My go-to bullet is a We-Vibe Tango. It’s amazing and rarely fails to get me off but the strong, rumbly vibrations make me come in minutes which is amazing when I’m alone but when I’m with a partner I prefer to be teased and denied over and over, something I’ve never quite managed with the Tango.
The presentation of the Rocks Off RO-Mona Purple Bullet Vibrator is modern and sleek. The black box with gold detailing features some basic product information and a picture of the bullet on the reverse; it’s simple, effective and unintimidating for anyone new to sex toys.
The bullet itself is 4 inches long and a gorgeous metallic purple colour. Made of ABS plastic, the Rocks Off RO-Mona bullet vibe is body safe and waterproof so can be used in the bath or shower if that’s your thing; I love this feature as it makes it so much easier to keep toys clean and hygienic.
This Rocks Off RO-Mona Purple Bullet Vibrator has three constant vibrations with increasing strength and seven patterns. A single push button on the base allows you to scroll through these and holding this down turns the RO-Mona on and off. I’m not the biggest fan of patterns in general and the RO-Mona is no different; mobile phone on a table and dying bumble bee just leave me cold. Give me strong constant speeds any day!
The vibrations are surprisingly strong for a battery operated bullet, a single AAA battery is definitely better than those bullets with watch batteries in terms of power, but the vibrations are very buzzy and quite numbing on the higher settings.
The lowest two constant settings worked best for me as these were strong enough to get me excited without being so buzzy I was numbed, but at this power level I struggled to orgasm without some other stimulation. This wasn’t a problem for me as I had anticipated using the Rocks Off RO-Mona for partnered play rather than for fast and furious solo sessions.
If you’re new to sex toys, the RO-Mona by Rocks Off is a great toy. It’s quiet, discrete and unintimidating but I doubt it will appeal to anyone with more than a couple of toys as it is quite a basic. At under £20 the Rocks Off RO-Mona Purple Bullet Vibrator is a great starter bullet and introduction to sex toys. The vibrations are relatively strong without taking me from nought to done in sixty seconds; I just wish it wasn’t quite so buzzy on the higher settings as no one wants a numb clit!
