The Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator comes presented in the typical Rocks Off packaging, which is clearly marked and has a transparent window at the front through which you can see Mona encased, just itching to get out and please you.

The packaging includes all the essential information about RO-Mona, including how to insert the battery, when the battery expires, the fact the battery is included (yay) and is an AAA type (bigger yay) and even a company QR code. Very modern.

The Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator is set into a black velvet topped moulded plastic insert, beneath which you will find the Rocks Off mini catalogue as well as a branded, satin drawstring top storage pouch for your new bullet vibe.

Rocks Off’s RO-Mona bullet vibrator is a glittery, sparkly fuchsia pink colour. You know, that shade of pink where you’re not sure if it’s actually pink or more a purple colour. I’m still fairly undecided on this , and as we all view colours differently, I am going to leave you to look at the photos and decide for yourselves.

This bullet vibrator is slightly longer than the bestselling RO-80mm bullet vibe, at 4 inches in length. The maximum circumference is 2.5 inches, just above the battery compartment. The rest of the RO-Mona bullet vibrator gently tapers to a comfortably pointed tip.

Looking at the Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator through the packet, I had expected the surface to feel more grainy than it does. It looks slightly as though someone had dunked a bullet vibe firstly into a bucket of PVA glue then immediately after into a bucket of glitter and then left it to dry.

Disclaimer: I am pretty sure this isn’t how Rocks Off make their bullet vibrators.

The Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator is actually made from a patterned metallic plastic, which catches the light to give it a glittery, sparkly iridescence. Although there is a stimulating, enjoyable texture to the bullet, there’s no glitter so no fear of any ‘craft herpes’ when you use it.

Using the RO-Mona is easy. Before your first use, unscrew the end cap, remove the paper safety disc and replace the cap by twisting on tightly. Yes – the battery is included so you can get going right away. It’s a AAA battery so it’s easy to replace when it runs out, and it gives a higher level of power than those damn watch batteries.

Make sure you screw the cap back on tightly to ensure it’s waterproof. The rubber ring between the cap and rest of the bullet means you can take your new toy into the bath or shower, as well as making cleaning it a breeze.

The button on the end turns on the Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator, then you click it to scroll through the 7 vibrating functions.

Settings

I would describe the functions as follows:

  • Low constant vibration
  • Medium constant vibration
  • High constant vibration
  • Dot-dot-dot-dot-dash pulsation
  • Dash-dash-dash pulsation
  • Ascending vibration
  • Dot-dot-dot fast pulsation

Press and hold the button at any time to turn the vibrator off. Restarting will see you back at the first function once more.

I have a little issue with the button in that I think it would be better sticking out, rather than flush to the end of the vibe as it is. It feels small to press and as you have to indent it to turn it on and hold it in to turn it off, your fingerpad can be put under more pressure than usual.

This is just my opinion, but I would prefer a rubber sticking out button like on the standard RO-80 or other bullet vibes. I know it adds to the sleek and different look of the RO-Mona, but in use it just feels a little too uncomfy for me personally.

What I Love

The material, the look, the functions, the shape, the fact there’s a storage pouch and battery included, the battery type and that it’s completely waterproof.

The top constant vibration on the Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator definitely does it for me, and the choice of the other settings is nice as a novelty to spice things up a bit.

What I’d Change

The operation button, as I’ve mentioned above. Not a huge issue, just something I’d prefer to be more like the standard buttons.

I wouldn’t change anything else about the Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator, the colour and slight texture to the bullet has its own market and marks this bullet vibe out as different from the rest. It’s not my favourite colour for a sex toy but I know pink and purple are hugely popular with some ladies out there.

Summary

The Rocks Off RO-Mona Bullet Vibrator is a very pretty addition to the toy box, which is powerful and discreet all at once. Keep it within reach for enjoyable and fast orgasms whenever you wish, whether you’re on your own or with a partner.
