Pjur Med Sensitive Glide Water Based Lube Review
By Big Bike Guy
We were really looking forward to testing the Pjur Med Sensitive Glide Water Based Lube out for the Pleasure Panel. This lube promises so much: it’s free from preservatives, parabens & glycerine. The manufacturers claim it was developed for the sensitive mucous membranes in the genitals and they have made the lube at neutral as possible to ensure it won’t cause and irritation. All things that we would generally look for when choosing a good lube. It also tasteless (I tried it straight from the bottle) and has no real smell so all good.
The Pjur Med Sensitive Glide Water Based Lube comes in a 100ml traditional bottle with a screw top – no pump I’m afraid – so the bottle can get a bit slippery when the action starts.
As a couple we always use lube, generally a water based lubricant, so when it came to putting this Pjur water based lube to the test we had something to compare it to. In terms of consistency it’s not the thickest nor is it runny, it sits somewhere in the middle. When it came to using the lube we found it nice and slick, it lasted well, certainly on a par with the other water based lubes we’ve used. Neither of us experienced and irritation or reaction at all, for us that’s essential when using lube.
When the Pjur Med Sensitive Glide Water Based Lube did dry out there was no sticky residue or mess, so cleaning up was easy. As with other lubes, when you apply water it does become slippery again. This means that if you can’t get the top off the bottle in the heat of the moment a little bit of spit revives the lube.
To sum up this Pjur lubricant: it’s got no harmful chemicals, it’s got no nasty taste, it doesn’t smell, it didn’t irritate, it left no mess but it did help us to have a good slippy shag, so it’s a 9 out of 10.
