Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide Review
By Pleasure Panel reviewer JustStartingOut
2 Sachets of Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide were supplied by Uber Kinky via Cara Sutra’s Pleasure Panel in exchange for an honest review. Many thanks.
Pjur are, in case you are not aware, one of the leading manufacturers of lubricant and so, we had high hopes for what the German maestros had in store for us, even though we only had a small amount to play with.
First thing first however, it should be noted that the Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide is a silicone based product and, therefore not suitable for use with any silicone based beads, dildos, probes, plugs or prostate massaging devices! Glass or “other” toys should be fine to use with this. It is also condom friendly so is more than suitable if you do indulge in anal play with multiple partners.
This Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide is also Glycerin and Paraben free so should be suitable for anyone who suffers with allergies or sensitivity in these regions. The product is also suitable to use – should the need arise as a vaginal lubricant.
The Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide is not as thick as one would immediately think, many (water based) anal lubes are quite thick while this is very thin, oily and flows quite easily, tested with a couple of toys and condoms we felt the lube good initially but as we “played” further less so, ok, so we only had two sachets to go with but the need to re-apply did arrive sooner than we both hoped. The “relaxing” element of the lube was largely unfounded in our experience, although it did the job neither of us felt any real difference against our preferred water based anal product.
That’s not to say the Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide didn’t perform as expected. It is a good anal lubricant, it didn’t appear to “relax” our anuses, but it did allow for a comfortable (for a time) play time. Maybe we didn’t have enough of the product available to enable us to make a decision, maybe we are looking to hard to try and find a reason to like this product more than we do. Maybe, just maybe this is something that is designed with those more well versed in anal sex and play than us.
Don’t get us wrong, the Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide is a good lubricant, thin and easy flowing yet not so that it runs off where not wanted (or at least in sachet form it didn’t), it allows for easy insertion of anal toys (in our cases a condom covered silicone prostate massager & similarly protected string of beads) and condoms, the relaxing property didn’t really come into play and, we found probably more than we had would have been required for a full experience with the product.
In our opinion (for what it is worth) we would recommend the product but, to people who enjoy more regular anal play within their repertoire than most, we are no strangers to anal play but as more of an occasional adventure than a regular occurrence and don’t see ourselves changing from our own preferred product to this at this time. We would rate the Pjur Back Door Relaxing Silicone Anal Glide 7/10.
We would like to thank Cara Sutra and UberKinky for arranging this sample for testing.
