As usual I would love to thank Cara Sutra for giving me the opportunity to try the Nu Sensuelle Pearl Rechargeable Silicone Vibrator free of charge, in exchange for a full review here on the blog.
When I saw that Cara was offering this vibrator to a reviewer to give feedback on, I almost didn’t volunteer. Previously I’d thought that unless a sex toy was a magic wand vibrator it had little to no hope of making me orgasm. However, seeing the Nu Sensuelle Pearl described as a ‘dual sensation’ product got me quite excited – could this be a winner for me? So I put my name forward to review it and had a big smile on my face when it arrived discreetly in the post.
First Impressions
My first thoughts upon opening my new sex toy review package was how pretty the box is. I tried pulling at the ribbon at the top of the box and it took me a moment to realise how the card is folded so I could unbox the vibrator within. The box is sleek and classy with a clean-feeling white gloss card exterior.
What about that vibrator? Well when I first took the Nu Sensuelle Pearl Rechargeable Silicone Vibrator from the box I must admit I was a little disappointed. It seemed quite slim and a like a wide girth, personally! Then again I didn’t want to pre-judge too much – I hadn’t inserted it yet.
The silicone covering to the vibrator is great, reminds me of feeling a real penis where the skin on the outside is silky soft but you can feel the gorgeous hardness within. The nodules on the outside of the Nu Sensuelle Pearl are a thoughtful addition for clitoral stimulation during use.
During Use
Switching it on I used the motion stimulation first (the little pearl). That didn’t cause much excitement on its own even on the third speed… BUT, once I added vibration – WOW. The Nu Sensuelle Pearl Rechargeable Silicone Vibrator had me more than a little excited. I put the toy on charge overnight so it would have a nice healthy charge the next day.
I was pretty excited to try the Pearl properly, so I made sure I had plenty of time to try each action and function of the toy. It felt lovely when the pearl moved on my clitoris and I soon moved it up quickly to the third level then adding vibration. Now that felt amazing.
Even at a low vibration I got so much from it… when I reached the fourth constant vibration level I thought it would make me orgasm but I just couldn’t quite reach it. Therefore I pushed through the patterns of vibration. However I just kept needing more, I was not quite satisfied enough to orgasm using it like this.
Eventually I moved the tip of the Nu Sensuelle Pearl Rechargeable Silicone Vibrator away from my clitoris and pushed it inside. THIS was where it really felt amazing, as a penetrative toy -and that was where I realised what a fabulous sex toy the Pearl is.
Summary
The idea of the 2 items working together is genius, dual stimulation on this toy just hits the spot both inside and outside, with so many variants of speed and movement there’s something for most people and is just as fabulous if being used inside or outside. I do feel a bigger version would make a great toy for those of us that like a thicker toy. I found the battery when full can last between 2-4 hours depending on which functions you select, and it takes forever to fully charge but it’s worth the wait.
In conclusion, I think the Nu Sensuelle Pearl Rechargeable Silicone Vibrator is a great sex toy. I give it 8/10 as it has enough functions/ stimulants to keep everyone happy and works great with both internal and external usage.
