With an insertable length of just 4.75 inches the Loving Joy Curved 5 Inch Silicone Dildo With Suction Cup from Loving Joy is the most petite dildo in my collection. I am usually more of a size queen when it comes to toys but according to a Journal of Urology study, the average penis size is 5.1 inches so I was curious about how I’d find such a petite toy.
This dildo is made of silky smooth, matte black silicone (yeahy for toys that aren’t pink/purple) which is unfortunately a total lint / dust magnet! This is easily resolved by giving it a quick wash before use and I have taken to storing it in a satin pouch to keep the bits at bay.
The dildo has an untextured shaft which tapers from 0.9 inches at the tip to 1.25 inches at the base. The taper eases insertion and only a tiny dollop of water based lube is needed. The smaller girth also makes this dildo unintimidating for beginners to pegging or sex toys in general.
The dildo has a gentle curve making it perfectly angled for G or P-spot stimulation. I found the length of the dildo perfect for hitting my G-spot when used vaginally but it’s just a little too short to make the same impact anally on me.
The body-safe silicone is easy to clean with warm soapy water or sex toy cleaner but if you’re using it for anal play (and definitely if you’re sharing it with a / multiple partners or orifices) I’d recommend antibacterial soap and preferably sterilisation. I use Milton tablets after initial cleaning to keep my dildos as clean as possible and normally use condoms with them if I’m sharing.
The suction cup is so strong it will stick to almost any flat surface, I had lots of fun sticking it to my bedroom window/bathtub/mirror. The suction is strong enough to hold the dildo in place during play without popping off.

I have used this dildo with a strap on a couple of times. The dildo is narrower than 2 of my fingers put together but as a tend to have quite long nails, it’s perfect for warm up play. When used with a harness I found the dildo a little too short to hit my G-spot as I couldn’t get the base as close to my body as it was with manual use. Similarly, I didn’t find it was long or wide enough to bring a partner to orgasm, but it worked great as a gentle introduction especially for pegging.
Overall, I really enjoyed playing with the Loving Joy Curved 5 Inch Silicone Dildo With Suction Cup. It’s much more petite than my usual go to toys but it’s great for warm ups and has had a lot more use than I thought it would.
