The Loving Joy Bound to Please Red Cotton Bondage Rope from Loving Joy is 10m of beautifully red rope made from a soft cotton. Looked so simple and folded so nicely on arrival. Designed to do rope play/Shibari on the website. It’s something I’ve wanted to try for a while and luckily getting this to review gave me the option to try this out.
Packaging
The Loving Joy Bound to Please Red Cotton Bondage Rope arrived in simple little bag with the rope all tied up neatly. The label attached to the rope says this is for advanced users. Simple enough but so elegantly tied… so much so I did not want to untie it and use it as it looked so neat.
First Impressions
So the Loving Joy Bound to Please Red Cotton Bondage Rope itself is 10m long and being a completely newbie I was not sure if this was a decent amount of rope.
The texture on the rope itself is very soft; my expectation was that it was going to be more rough and coarse but completely opposite. The rope itself is quite thick in diameter, which is fab and feels sturdier and less breakable, which is one thing I worried about when using it as a restraint. There is obviously going to be some pulling against it happening and the potential for fraying.
During Use
When tied on my skin the Loving Joy Bound to Please Red Cotton Bondage Rope felt amazing. Even when I pulled against it, there was no feeling of burning or rubbing on my skin. Just a feeling of it gliding over my skin making me feel restrained in a majorly pleasurable way.
Therefore, after searching the internet I came across a few YouTube videos to help direct me. First I tried a knot for doing around my feet, which I did on my own, and felt there was so much of it to go around. I could not fault the amount I got and how much I had spare so I even wrapped it round a few extra times.
Then I tried a hand knot on my partner who also commented on how soft it felt on him and even with the high amount of it in one go meant I could tie him to the bed as well as his hands! So with the roles reversed my partner decided to have a go at tying me up.
With me on a chair he managed to wrap it around me and on my hands in the process which goes to show how far the length gets you in this situation.
In Conclusion
Overall the Loving Joy Bound to Please Red Cotton Bondage Rope is amazing and I can’t fault it in anyway. The packaging is simple, the rope length is great and also feels so soft against the skin.
This is something I would recommend to anyone whether they are a beginner or an existing rope play fan! The price of the Loving Joy Bound to Please Red Cotton Bondage Rope is amazing for what you get.
