I bought the Lovehoney Curved Silicone Suction Cup Dildo 7 Inch with the intention of stealing my boyfriend’s pegging virginity with it. Although I must confess he didn’t know that at the time. For £19.99 you get a toy that’s made of silicone (WOOP), is harness compatible, has a suction cup and a hole to add a bullet. Pretty good right? Well, yeah. It’s certainly no Vixen Creations or Tantus, but its versatility allows it to hold its own in my toy box.

Lovehoney took the silicone dildo back to basics with this one, and I actually think it pays off hugely. The silicone is silky smooth, and almost ALMOST seamless (It’s neither scratchy nor felt in use, so I’ll forgive it that minor sin). The design is obviously phallic but has a simple, streamlined look that stops it being a ‘realistic’ dildo, which makes me do a happy dance, besides given the purple colour if it was realistic it would be left looking like Barney the dinosaur’s 3rd leg.
There is a defined ‘head’ on this dildo which is quite tiny at only 3.75″ circumference, the dildo steadily gets bigger from there, with the widest part (4.75″) being at the base. The curve is, dare I say it? Perfect. There, I said it. My vagina likes curvy. In fact, she craves it to the point that she turns her nose up at all toys without a curve.
For vaginal use the Lovehoney Curved Silicone Suction Cup Dildo 7 Inch will need some lube, but it certainly hasn’t saddled itself with the label of ‘lube hog’ like my vixen dildos. Inserted into my vagina on its own it’s underwhelming, simply because of that lack of girth where it would most benefit from it; THE HEAD, so whilst the curve reaches my g-spot perfectly it all feels far too jabby and pointed. The length is also about an inch longer than my vagina can handle, but that’s just a case of not using the whole dildo (which is how I have to use most dildos).
The suction cup was the other reason I bought the Lovehoney Curved Silicone Suction Cup Dildo 7 Inch. I love the hands free capabilities of a dildo with a suction cup but my other two suction cup dildos are only 5.5″ in length so they fall short during use against a wall. Leaving me waving my arse around in a vague attempt to insert the dildo from behind, whilst it sits there proudly, inviting and teasing. So I knew the 7″ length was going to work in its favour for this. The suction cup is quite strong but it doesn’t always create a reliable hold on painted walls. Sad face. When it does work though, it’s a lot of fun, but again I’m left wishing the head was BIGGER.
The hole in the base is only about an inch deep, so whilst almost all my bullet vibrators fit in, they all poke out the end. Not a problem as such but it nullifies the suction cup completely. Most importantly though, the We-Vibe Tango fits in! And the vibrations actually travel well enough through it that I can cum with the tip of the dildo on my clit, it also means I can turn this into a vibrating g-spotter, which it works fairly well at too!
The slender size and gentle shape of this toy lends itself wonderfully to a bit of anal play. The small head makes for easy insertion and then you can take as much of the tapered toy as you like, meaning you can avoid stretching yourself to the 4.75″ max circumference if that’s too much for you. (It is for my OH who is still quite new to anal play.) The flared base means you can orgasm in the comfort of knowing that the dildo won’t do a disappearing act inside you.
And on to my favourite part, (I’m almost done I swear!) its use a pegging dildo. I use this in my RodeOH crotch-less low rise strap on knickers, it fits well, and feels comfortable even when the base is pushed against you. The dildo is really easy to manoeuvre as it doesn’t droop or wobble, so it’s easy to get it where it needs to go… so to speak. It has enough flex to be comfortable in all sorts of positions. The pokey nature of the small head is its downfall once again though, being just that bit too jabby. The gradual increase in size towards the base means that thrusting in the whole way stretches him too much, but trying not to use the whole length was a real test of my newbie strap-on skills.
The Lovehoney Curved Silicone Suction Cup Dildo 7 Inch is a hugely versatile toy, when we go away and have to pack light this toy always makes the cut, along with the tango and strap-on panties, we are set for all possibilities. It does run the risk of being a jack of all trades, master of none but for the small price tag it’s a gamble that’s probably worth taking.
