Chocolate and orange is a delicious flavour combination, I can easily devour a Terry’s chocolate orange in one sitting, its so deliciously moreish. I was excited to see the Lovehoney Chocolate Orange Flavoured Lube up for review from Cara Sutra. Luckily I got the opportunity to review this yummy lubricant. Thank you Cara and Lovehoney!

Product Info
The Lovehoney Chocolate Orange Flavoured Lube is completely clear, it is free from chemical nasties such as parabens and glycerin, it is also suitable to use with condoms. Glycerin has been known to cause yeast infections in the vagina, if you are susceptible to getting yeast infections it’s advisable to avoid lubes with glycerin. It has been formulated to be used for oral, vaginal, and anal sex. I have listed the ingredients below, these are printed on the back of the bottle.

Aqua, Sorbitol, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Potassium Sorbate, Aroma (Flavour), Diazolidinyl Urea, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Citric Acid, Sucralose, Limonene
Packaging
The packaging for the Lovehoney Chocolate Orange Flavoured Lube has a fun design, its a clear bottle, with an orange and chocolate colour scheme. The bottle holds 100ml of lubricant, and has a click top cap, this is very easy to use and convenient. I love the clear bottle, so you know when to repurchase when you are running low. It’s also a perfect size for travelling with.
Taste & Consistency
This chocolate orange lubricant smells heavenly and tastes delicious. I was so pleased that there is no artificial aftertaste with this lube, as you can sometimes get with a flavoured lube. I have used Lovehoney flavoured lubricants before and the consistency is always great, this lube was no exception. I squeezed some out of the bottle onto my hand, the consistency is not too thick, or too runny. I rubbed it into my skin and left it. It lasted 30 minutes before it started drying out, and afterwards there was no sticky residue left behind – hurrah!
In Use
We have used the Lovehoney Chocolate Orange Flavoured Lube for oral sex and vaginal sex and it performed excellent. Adding water to this lubricant will reactivate it, so you don’t have to reapply. It can also be used for anal play/sex, but my personal preference, is to use an anal lubricant for this as they are much thicker. After use, any excess lubricant can be clean off with a sex toy wipe.
Summary
Overall, the Lovehoney chocolate orange lubricant is a fantastic lube. It has all the qualities I look for in a lubricant, it’s smells lovely, tastes delicious, its non-sticky and is perfect for oral and vaginal sex. I cannot recommend this lubricant highly enough. It is sadly being discontinued, get some now before its gone!
