Delivery was not only prompt but fully discreet and well packaged, including an invoice with details of the contents (within the package).
I was very much looking forward to trying out this brand new sex toy to grace the LELO Sex Toys Collection: the LELO Smart Wand Medium Vibrator.
Being a long time lover of the ‘massage wand’ style of vibrators for women, I knew without a doubt that I had to own one of these delicious looking versions, from the last word in designer, high end sex toys, LELO.
LELO have added two Smart Wands to their Insignia line of sex toys, the LELO Smart Wand Medium Vibrator and the LELO Smart Wand Large Vibrator. My LELO Medium Smart Wand is purple.
The LELO Smart Wand Medium Vibrator measures approx 9 inches bottom to tip, which wasn’t easy to measure, as it’s curved!
Firstly, the packaging. Simple and stunning as ever with LELO. You can see the quality and every penny you paid for the item, just from looking at the classiness of the box. Presentation really is key.
Upon opening the inner LELO box, you get the following items:

- Sachet of LELO moisturising lubricant

- Satin LELO drawstring storage bag for your Smart Wand
- Warranty, Guarantee and User Manual
You need to charge the LELO Smart Wand Medium Vibrator for 2 hours before first use. 2 hours charge gives you 2 hours uninterrupted power. If you need that long. Which you won’t. This is a huge improvement on the old style “charge for 6-8 hours”! 2 hours… I could do that, surely?
After the longest 2 hours ever and badly bitten down nails my LELO Smart Wand Medium Vibrator was finally ready to test out. Oh, I should mention the pretty flashing light behind the logo on the wand while you’re charging it! Looks lovely as well as letting you know the Smart Wand is indeed charging up.
This vibrator has 8 functions in total, powered by the central function button on the inner of the handle. The two buttons to either side are to ramp up the speed or lower it, all the way to the off setting.
Simply hold the vibrator against you, wherever you wish (I wonder where! 😉 ) and pump up the power, and cycle through the functions to explore. Being me, I had to jump straight to the most powerful, steady vibration, to feel the maximum potential of this toy. Very. Impressive.

- More drawn out wave vibration
- wave/pulse
- mixture of low – high – medium pulses of vibration
Sorry, this is the best way I can decribe them – you’ll have to discover for yourselves! Needless to say, the variation will give you many hours of fun each time if you so choose, or you can ramp up the power for a thrilling, quick and easy release.
The LELO Smart Wand charges by the pin style area on the base, which is also waterproof, somewhat incredibly. I must say I was actually nervous at the thought of putting my new LELO Smart Wand Medium Vibrator near water but it survived the shower perfectly well. And the few showers after that. ~ahem~ yes, anyway…
It’s also easy to hold between your legs during sex with a lover, whether you’re on top or they are, or even spooning… the length of the handle means you can enjoy the vibrations of the head on your clit while in doggy too.
My choice is to use this on my clit, as you may have realised… I feel this is what it’s made for, regardless of the spiel about it being great for shoulders and calf muscles. Hey, those areas are NOT why I got a LELO Smart Wand. Know what I mean?
Summary? Another winner from LELO. Easy to hold, ergonomic (you knew that word was coming didn’t you!), velvety soft silicone, blingtastic yet classy shiny handle, easy to use buttons, a plethora of functions, powerful vibration, flexible head for comfort, waterproof, value for money overall, beautifully presented and rechargeable too.
