The Juliet Toys Rattlesnake Chastity Cage was sent for review by the friendly Juliet Toys team, who I’ve reviewed several products for already here at the Cara Sutra sex blog. For this item, I required assistance from my obedient slave, who has dutifully provided his thoughts and experiences with this chastity device below.
As well as his review and some clear photographs (including his photo wearing the chastity device, behind a consent button) there is a video of the chastity cage and its components, so you get a better sense of its size and how it really looks.
Whether you’re considering locking up in a new device yourself, or seeking a new cage for your deliciously denied submissive, read on to see how the Rattlesnake Cage from Juliet Toys measured up.

Slave Review of the Juliet Toys Rattlesnake Chastity Cage
My first impression of the cage when I took it out of the packaging was that it was a well-manufactured and finished product. It was smooth with no sharp edges. It was also solid yet very lightweight.
The first real issue I had was with the instructions. As many are these days, it was written in numerous languages, and although I thought I had found the English section, I became less confident that was the case when I read through it. The spelling and punctuation seemed flawless, but none of it made sense. Then I realised that they were the instructions for the Nautilus E-Stim chastity Cage. Not a great start, but fortunately, the assembly of the cage was virtually self-explanatory, even without a degree in technology, and the lack of correct instructions was not a disaster.
There were two different sizes of cages, long and short, for which the promotional site provided the relative sizes. Those who know me, in that regard, would not be surprised that the cage appropriate for me was the short one, which befits my submissive, beta male status.
The cage came with four differently sized rings. So, any male with remotely cooperative testicles should have no problem finding the right ring and attaching the cage. Regrettably, I do not fall into that category, and it is not a reflection of the product that I had difficulty in capturing my elusive testicles. I could only possibly do so with the largest ring, and even then, the likelihood of them staying captured was very low. I must emphasise that this is not a fault of the cage, as I have long known that I can only truly be caged with the use of a Prince Albert piercing, and no cage of this type can successfully overcome that depressingly annoying matter.
Temporarily or otherwise, I was able to fit the cage sufficiently to review it.
One thing that makes this cage very special is the catheter. This was the first time I had worn a cage with this addition, and it was very new to me.
One question to resolve was when to fit the catheter.
I would highly recommend initially inserting the catheter into the urethra, utterly separate from the cage, to get used to it and become more confident when inserting it.
It may feel strange and even a bit uncomfortable, and it is no simple matter to fit the cage and insert the catheter simultaneously. It, therefore, helps to be accustomed to inserting the catheter beforehand.
I could establish two ways of inserting the catheter.
Firstly: You could insert the catheter an inch or so into the urethra before inserting the penis into the cage. You then have to guide the other end of the catheter through the hole at the far end of the cage before screwing the metal cap onto that end and thereby attaching it to the cage.
Secondly: You could push the threaded end through the hole at the end of the cage and screw on the cap, thereby attaching it to the cage. Then as you insert your penis into the cap, guide the near end of the catheter into your urethra as you draw the cage and locking mechanism towards the ring.
The second method worked for me, but both need a bit of dexterity
One word of caution at this point. When attaching the ring to the locking mechanism at the top of the cage, ensure none of your skin on the top of your penis is pinched between those two parts. Often, you won’t know you’ve done that until you dismantle the cage, and the longer you’ve worn the cage, the more painful that discovery will be.
I almost caught my skin between the two parts on this occasion, and with less care, I could have done so. Again, this is not a specific criticism of this cage. It is an inevitable risk with all similar cages.
Once wearing the cage, I felt remarkably comfortable, and I liked the lightweight feel. I can imagine this would be a suitable cage for long-term wear.
The extra hygiene and cleanliness provided by the catheter are highlighted as adding to the specific benefit that this cage offers for long-term use.
I can appreciate that, but, to me, the catheter had a much more effective benefit. There was little doubt that the catheter in the urethra both physically and mentally induced extra arousal. There was a constant stream of cool air caused by the catheter that indeed induced a physical reaction deep within a sensitised urethra.

To me, this gave this cage something very different and new. A high-quality, well-made cage with added arousal.
After all, what are male chastity cages for? To prevent a male from gaining release, to keep him aroused, and thereby focused on his female partner or owner.
A good quality cage with added arousal induced by a catheter. Ticks a lot of boxes as far as I can see.
Pros:
- High-quality, smooth, and well-finished build
- Lightweight design makes for comfortable wear
- Unique catheter feature adds hygiene and heightened urethral stimulation
- Various cage sizes available and comes with four ring options for adjustable fit
- Visually appealing and discreet enough for extended control
Cons:
- Incorrect instructions included (for a different product entirely)
- Product page implies the product comes with a butt plug – ours didn’t
- Not ideal for wearers with uncooperative testicles
- Insertion of the catheter can be fiddly and requires practice
- Potential risk of skin pinching during assembly (common with this style of cage)
Score: 7/10

In Conclusion
Many thanks to my slave Penny for his detailed and honest thoughts on the Juliet Toys Rattlesnake Chastity Cage – always a pleasure to put him to work for me, especially writing a product review while squirming in denied desire in a locked chastity cage. I like that there are several sizes of this cage to choose from, when it comes to the ring options, and the cage itself is well-made, lightweight and easy to fit and lock. The product page at Juliet Toys does imply there should be a butt plug with the device but this wasn’t in our package. But as for the Rattlesnake chastity device, this certainly offers a secure locked option with the extra layer of arousal control via the catheter tube and stimulation.
Check out this chastity device through the button below – it might just rattle your cage in all the right ways.
