Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator Review
The Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator is actually a pulsating sex toy. Part of the Fun Factory range which is designed and manufactured in Germany, the Stronic line of sex toys features pulsating and thrusting motions, rather than the traditional vibrating stimulation that is the mainstay of the sex toy industry.
I received the first Stronic (Stronic Eins) a while back. Very excited to discover that I was being sent the Stronic Zwei, I eagerly awaited the post like a good little sex toy reviewer and was finally rewarded with a knock at the door.
The Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator I received was a sample of the product, therefore it didn’t have the typical retail style packaging. However, there was a button covering device – some sort of net type object. Useful to slip back on during storage and travel, actually.
This sex toy is big and bold. It sits with a weighty determination to rock your world. Picking it up, you can tell this will satisfy your inner areas as the dramatically contoured shape fills every millimetre of your anticipatory flesh.
Basically, you could even use it as a dildo.
The shape flares out to a rounded, wide middle and has a rounded, angled tip. The Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator has been designed for anal stimulation and pleasure, unlike the Eins which was designed for vaginal use. Therefore there is a flared area meaning it won’t slip up inside you during use. Just plug it into the mains then the magnetic disc clicks to the metal nodules on the end of the Zwei. The FUN logo lights up as it’s charging.
How long does the Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator take to charge? I read that it takes 16 hours before first use. I didn’t time it and the nature of all sex toys is that whatever they tell you in a manual, each toy can prove to be different.
Personally, I plugged it in over night the first time then after that it tends to just take a few hours to charge fully again.
The toy is fully waterproof meaning you can enjoy it in the bath or shower as well as in bed. It did feel a little weird, as it always does, taking a luxury, high end toy into the shower! Due to the motion of the ocean pulsation it’s better in the bath anyway, as when you’re standing up the thrusts just don’t satisfy as much.
This is a large sex toy. I might have mentioned this. Seeing as it’s been made for anal use, you have to be absolutely sure you’re ready and prepared to have a large sex toy up your butt before you buy one. Also, ensure you have plenty and I mean PLENTY of great quality lubricant.
There isn’t merely one speed to the Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator either. It has 10 functions to cycle through, or just find your favourite and enjoy it for a session. The FUN button on the toy is the on and off switch, then you use the + and – buttons to discover the modes. It always starts on the medium intensity and there are a variety of modes to explore.
The modes, in my own terms, can be described as:
- Slowest thrusts, approximately one a second
- Slow thrusts
- Still slow thrusts, but faster
- Starts mode > Medium constant pulse < starts here upon activation
- Fast constant pulse
- Faster constant pulse
- Even faster constant pulse
- A fast purr, decreasing to a stop, then repeat
- Building pulsation with various fast thrusts
- Three definite thrusts and long pulsation, folllowed by a fast pulse then another long pulsation
Right, so down to the action. I knew I’d need water based lubricant for this baby and I was right. I mean look at the size of the thing, ok maybe only 4 inches insertable length but a maximum girth of 5.8 inches by my measurements. No way was that going anywhere without being generously lubed.
It actually took me a few attempts to get this inside, which is one of the reasons this review has taken a lot longer than usual. I also found that I needed clitoral stimulation at the same time – that was interesting, trying to lay down, insert the Stronic Zwei AND keep a vibrating bullet on the clit all at once.
Like I’ve said, this toy really works best if you’re horizontal. The motion of the Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator is back and forth, at its most powerful when it’s laid horizontally. It has to fight against gravity too much if it’s vertical. Same with the Stronic Eins and most probably with the Drei (I will get to that review at a later date).
Once it was inside me it was entirely fulfilling, the sex toy version of having eaten a whole gateau, I guess. Feels amazing but don’t make any sudden movements. I remained grateful for the lube.
The buttons are raised and were easy to find, even under sheets and between legs. The bottom, FUN button for on and then the buttons above to scroll through settings. The fast constant pulsation was the best for me.
To be honest once the Fun Factory Stronic Zwei Thrusting Vibrator is inside it feels fantastic regardless of the mode you select. Your muscles pressing against the silicone also dampen down the movements quite a bit, which is why it had to be so powerful in the first place and why it had to be large as well, probably. Need to fit that powerful motor in somewhere!
I’ve used the Stronic Zwei a few times since managing it and I must say, if you get the chance to use this with the clitoral stimulator of a Swan Rabbit Vibe against you at the same time, DO IT. Why aren’t you doing it already?
As with the Stronic Eins, I highly recommend this sex toy to all those who are fond of big, bold, powerful toys. This is not for a sex toy newbie and definitely not for those unsure about anal. It’s also not the cheapest sex toy but it *is* silicone, rechargeable, waterproof and awesome.
