Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking Review
Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking review by Luv Bunny
I’d like to thank Cara at The Pleasure Panel for granting my wish to test this extremely pretty (and risqué!) bodystocking. This is my first opportunity to test a product from Bondara, so I am excited to finally get to try something from this well-known UK brand.
The Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking arrived in a black and hot-pink Bondara themed cardboard sleeve. There is a photo of an attractive lady wearing the bodystocking on each side of the sleeve. On the front, the model is shown with her face towards the camera to show the front of the bodystocking. The rear of the sleeve follows in a similar vein, and shows the rear of the model wearing the bodystocking (including her actual derrière; this is a crotchless bodystocking after all). The photos also depict the round cut-outs in the bodystocking, over her sides (at the lower end of her torso). On the front of the cardboard sleeve, there is a window to display the material of the bodystocking (described as 90% Nylon and 10% Elastane on the back of the sleeve).
My Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking is nicely finished with no loose threads that I could see. The ruffle is attractive and stretchy, as is the rest of the fabric. The pattern is a vertical wave within an Ogee pattern. A cute bow motif links the mirroring Ogee ‘peaks.’ Overall, it’s an attractive design and relatively flattering. The cut-outs on the sides of the torso help create a slimming effect.
How Does It Fit?
The size of the Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking is that frown-inducing ‘one-size’. I am dubious about this description, as the size ranges that often are incorporated into such a ‘grouping’ range from say a size 8 to a size 14. And then, are they talking UK size 8-14 or a US size 8-14 (which are actually a size larger than the UK counterparts)?!
I need not have worried though, as being a UK 12-14 and standing at 5’3” I’m ‘petite’ enough to get away with a skimpier sizing. On trying the Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking, I found it to stretch nicely over my curvy thighs, hips and tummy. There was no excess material hanging around my ankles to give that unflattering ‘Nora Batty’ effect. That said, if I were a few inches taller there would still have been enough elasticity to stretch, providing sufficient *ahem* coverage. Though if you are of Amazonian height, you may struggle!
You will notice that I had a virtual cough when I said about providing coverage… that is because, whilst being relatively modest on the top part of the body, the nether regions are widely exposed. The crotchless cut-out extends from above the pubic mound through to the buttocks, leaving the space between completely open. This is by no means a negative thing, as it means you can keep the pretty bodystocking on whilst giving your partner/s full access to your crotch and butt. Win-win for anyone who is self-conscious about ‘wobbly’ areas!
The Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking can be machine-washed at 30°C. I would use a laundry bag to wash it in, since it is a delicate item, and use a non-biological detergent suitable for delicates / synthetic material.
Oozing Sex Appeal
The ruffle neck reminds me of the outfit that Oliver Newton-John wore as Sandra Dee, at the end of Grease; you know, the all-in-one ‘catsuit’ that sat off her shoulders. Well, this bodystocking does for me what it did for Sandra Dee. It makes me feel more confident and sexy. Exactly what it is meant to do!
My only issue is that having narrow-ish shoulders, I find the ruffle rides up to sit on my shoulders. This is why I cannot give the bodystocking full marks (along with the fact that it may not fit ‘all’, being available in only ‘one-size’).
I rate the Bondara Ruffle Neck Crotchless Bodystocking 9/10.
