Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo Review

By Louise Lace

Over the years I have amassed a rather extensive adult toy collection, ranging from starter items such as bullet vibes through to thigh cuffs and ball gags. One thing I have few of, however, is glass toys. I was lucky enough to be selected to review the Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo from Loving Joy and I was absolutely thrilled.

The glass dildo arrived packaged in a card box with a full colour image of the ribbed dildo.  The side of the box informed me that the Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo was; made from hypoallergenic glass, easy to clean, suitable for temperature play and has an insertable length of 13.5cm.

The reverse of the box contains the product bio, a mixture of product information and sweet but cheesy colour spectrum puns…

“Prepare to be tickled pink and see the full spectrum of orgasmic delights…”

Opening the box (which did not have a hygiene seal), the Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo was housed in a plastic casing to protect when in transit.

The colour of this dildo is not fairly represented in the pictures, sorry I am not a photographer and technology baffles me.  I’m very much a point and click kinda girl.

The actual colour of the Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo is a beautiful baby pink colour.  The glass is flawless, not a blemish, air bubble or seam in sight.  It is a beautiful piece.  The size and colour make this a very cute toy, it reminds me of a baby caterpillar.

The name and the bio refer to this dildo as ribbed, yes, it is ribbed but the design is one of several spheres of glass, stacked on top of each other so each ‘rib’ is very pronounced.  This excites me, I do love a textured toy and the firmness, no give nature of glass is sure to provide a lot of stimulation when in use.

As the packaging said; glass toys are suitable for temperature play, so with this in mind, I popped the Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo into a bowl of warm water to take the chill off.

After a short while I removed the dildo from the water, dried it off – water is not a good lube, and checked that the glass had reached a comfortable temperature.

With a little dab of lube on the small tip of the Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo, there’s a slightly larger tip on the other end, I began to slowly insert one bulb at a time.

This is not what I consider to be a large toy, but I am a bit of a size queen.  The design of the ribbed dildo ensures that each rib it felt as it entered my body.  The glass was able to glide smoothly with just the slightest slick of lube.

The weight of the glass provided a sensation normally only felt when using really heavy dildos such as those made from stainless steel.  It felt heavenly.

Thrusting the dildo delivered a very stimulating play session and I quickly reached a rather bone shaking climax.

A few more play sessions later, I was feeling confident enough to try inserting the larger end of the dildo.  As always, I dribbled a little lube on both the dildo and myself and slowly eased the Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo into my body.  The satisfying ‘pop’ when the bulb reached its destination raised a blissful moan.  I really do live for the sensation of each bulb gliding in and out of my body.

I am so pleased Cara selected me to review the Loving Joy Spectrum Ribbed Glass Dildo, I absolutely love it, it’s a big fat 10 out of 10 from me.  I love the colour, the weight, the coolness, they way it turns from cold to hot with the heat of my body, the ribbed texture and the attention to detail.

I 100% recommend this dildo.  Go get yours here

Thank you Cara and Loving Joy, I now have a reignited love for glass toys.
