Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator Review

After a short break from product reviews I was delighted to be asked by Cara to review the Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator.

Packaging

The Emerald is packaged in a sleek black box with viewing window which proudly shows off the Jewel Collection Emerald clitoral stimulator in all its minty coloured glory.  With its bulbous base and 2 finger-esque prongs, the Emerald looks a little like a peace sign, I couldn’t wait to get it out of the box and give it a whirl.

Background

Before discarding the box, I took a minute of two to review the blurb Vibease has positioned on the back and sides of the box.  The Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator is “designed for ultimate clitoral stimulation… perfect or teasing and caressing.”  Vibease describe the prongs as rabbit ears but whilst the Emerald features 2 separate prongs, in my opinion they do not resemble ears in any way.

Carbon footprints are not my forté but I’d imagine the Emerald’s is probably the size of a Bigfoot footprint, having been designed in both California and Singapore before being assembled in China, and then shipped to the UK and other countries.

Specs

Manufactured from phthalates-free silicone, the Emerald is body-safe, water-resistant, non-toxic, features 7 settings and a “mesmerising colour changing LED light”.

Time to put on some music and get this ‘mesmerising’ light show started.

Charging Up

Charging the Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator is very easy, simply push the included USB charger through the silicone charge point located on the side of the Emerald and plug into a USB port or socket.  When charging the base of the Emerald illuminates with a bright, soft green coloured ring of light which slowly fades from mint green to white, and back again.

When fully charged after around 3 hours for the first charge and 2 hours thereafter, the light turns to a solid white light.

Operation & Settings

Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator Review

The Emerald has single button operation so starting it is simply a case of pressing and holding the round, textured button.

A strong but buzzy solid vibration pattern is the first of 7 different patterns. Pushing the button skips through the various settings and the ring of colour from the base light changes colour with each change of pattern.  This light feature helped me to remember which setting was my favourite.

With 3 steady and 4 pulsing settings there is a single or a group of settings to please most clitoris, clitorises, clitori??? Hmmmm, what is the collective term for a clitoris, answers on a postcard please.

How It Feels

I had no issues with the choice of vibrations and wasn’t too put off by the travelling vibrations in the base of the Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator.  With such a small, chunky device I would imagine it would be very difficult to make the part you hold, vibration free.

Honestly, I absolutely love the colour changing lights, they even dim and brighten in time with the pulsing!  The mesmerising claim on the packaging was indeed, correct.

Mesmerised I may be, but, do the 2 rabbit ear prongs and pulsating vibrations mesmerise my, prone to be fussy, clitoris?

Clitorissues…

Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator Review

I’m afraid to say the Emerald and my clitoris did NOT get off to a good start.  I began by positioning the Emerald with its prongs either side of my clitoris.  This was where I discovered a small but significant issue. The prongs are too far apart for my body.  Rather than nestled against my clitoris, the prongs sit quite firmly against my outer labia, meaning the vibrations don’t quite hit the right spot.

Not to be deterred, I manoeuvred the Emerald so only one of the prongs touched my clitoris. This allowed the Emerald’s vibrations to work their magic.

Re-Positioning

In further sessions, I positioned the prongs so one sat above and the other below my clitoris, this offered a significantly better experience and provided multiple orgasms.

The first steady vibration setting was just too harsh for my body, the buzzing had me clawing at my bed sheets for the wrong reasons but the next two steady settings offered a deeper, more rumbling vibration which I much prefer.

Pulsing patterns can be a source of frustration for me so I was surprised to find I enjoyed all but one of the settings on offer from the Vibease Emerald.

Clean-Up

Clean up was simple, the Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator is water-resistant so a quick wipe down with soapy water before and after use will keep the Emerald clitoral stimulator as good as new.

In Conclusion

Having found the correct positioning and combination of settings for my body, I do really like the Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald clitoral stimulator.  Admittedly, I would have loved the 2 ear prongs to have been a bit closer together- the gap between the ears is almost 2cm wide- too far apart for my body.

That said, the Jewel Collection Emerald by Vibease will still earn a place in my bedside toy box due to its mesmerising light displays and strong vibrating patterns.  It may just be my skinny clitoris that makes the Emerald less ergonomic for my body lol.

Thank you to Cara and Vibease for sending me the Vibease Jewel Collection Emerald Vibrator to try out. It’s a solid 8 out of 10 from me.
