SPIT Water Based Lube Review

By Pleasure Panel reviewer crimescene

I’m always up for trying new lubricants, whether new to the market or new to myself. I put myself forward to test any on offer at the Pleasure Panel and was selected to review the SPIT Water Based Lube available from Freedoms Shop.

SPIT Water Based Lube Review

I was intrigued when this showed up on my doorstep as I did not know what lube had been chosen for me. When I opened the protected envelope I was quite pleased to discover the bottle of SPIT Water Based Lube inside. It looked very intriguing.

The SPIT Water Based Lube comes in a 250ml/8.45 Fl.Oz bottle with a pump-action dispenser. You can lock the dispenser (which is basically the lid) so you don’t accidentally lube yourself up unexpectedly. I have come to appreciate locking dispensers as an adult.

SPIT Water Based Lube Review

SPIT Water Based Lube claims to be ‘super slick lubricant formulated for a smoother experience’. It also claims to be non-sting and skin kind. It has a very unique appearance. The bottle is clear so you can see the contents which are white and of a thick consistency. It looks a lot like spunk (why beat around the bush?) yet I can also see why it’s called Spit.

The SPIT Water Based Lube formula contains aloe vera which I always appreciate for its moisturising properties. The lube is also paraben-free. There is a full ingredients list on the back of the bottle, along with manufacturer information and directions.

The batch number and best before dates are clearly labelled on the side of the bottle as well. I am very glad about this. Usually I struggle to find the best before date stamped anywhere on the bottle. You can’t miss it on the SPIT Water Based Lube. Remember it’s a best before date, not a use-by date. Exercise care when using lube after it’s best before. Ideally do a patch test before using. I normally use items that are past their dates, whether that’s food or other.

I currently have so much lube that I am taking notice of dates on bottles and disposing of them when necessary. I am not advising you to use lubricant that is out-of-date, I am simply advising you to be sensible and exercise caution. Which I am sure you will anyway!

SPIT Water Based Lube Review

The SPIT Water Based Lube really lived up to everything it claimed. I was skeptical at first as I have been learning that often if a product makes a lot of claims, they usually aren’t accurate. The lube really does leave you feeling moisturised though, without that horrible greasy feeling. I did not have to reapply it and it had a nice consistency that wasn’t as thick as initially thought. It was slightly thicker than other water-based lubes but not as thick as an anal lube. I didn’t find it really runny and the pump-action dispenser made it easy to apply mess-free.

The SPIT Water Based Lube provides a lovely slick, smooth experience and it is quite possibly a new favourite of mine!
