RENDS Vorze A10 Cyclone SA Penis Masturbator Review
By The Big Gay Review
I so desperately wanted to like this product. I’ve recently come to the conclusion that I am a lazy masturbator. I want to get off quickly with maximum pleasure but the least amount of effort. The RENDS Vorze A10 Cyclone SA Penis Masturbator is something that had been mentioned to me in passing many times, but it’s extraordinary price tag has always put me off… but everyone who mentioned it to me seemed to rave about it, so I put it on my ‘watch list’ for later.

So imagine my delight when it appeared up for review from Cara Sutra. I wasn’t holding out for much when I offered to review, but lo and behold, I was chosen and the device was on its way. It arrived a day later and I hastily began to unpack and that’s when I discovered a problem. So the device retails for €399 (£344 as of 4/9/2016) and I was flabbergasted to see that it DOESN’T include a masturbation sleeve. It’s JUST the base unit. For that price, I would have expected SEVERAL sleeves to be included. To not have any in there for that price is quite frankly a bit of cheek.
(This, by the way is no fault of MEO.de – this is how RENDS package the RENDS Vorze A10 Cyclone SA Penis Masturbator).
I notified Cara right away and MEO arranged for a sleeve to be sent separately. For the record, the sleeve they sent me was the Vortex. So, now I had everything I needed, it was time to put it’s through it’s paces.
The RENDS Vorze A10 Cyclone SA Penis Masturbator is rechargeable, but it can also be operated whilst plugged in as well (if you are feeling supremely impatient). Please note that the included plug is a Japanese 2-prong plug, so you will need an adaptor in order to use it. I happened to have a spare shaving plug, which seemed to work just fine – but I would definitely suggest a proper adaptor plug. A full charge will give around 2 hours of playtime. Inside the box, you get the RENDS Vorze Cyclone, a bottle of lube, a DVD, a USB Bluetooth key and the charging cable.
The DVD and Bluetooth key are for a feature I have been unable to test, but in a nutshell, you can sync up pornographic movies with the device. However, my current laptop is a MacBook, which doesn’t have an optical drive, so unfortunately I couldn’t test this feature.
Fitting the sleeve is easy – simply remove the top cap and pull out the rotating chamber (they are all held in place by magnets). You’ll need to unclip the tubing and then you can hook your chosen sleeve into the rotating chamber and then pop it back inside the Vorze A10 Cyclone SA. Replace the cap and then you are good to go. So onto how it feels.
The RENDS Vorze A10 Cyclone SA Penis Masturbator has 7 different settings, each of which feature 7 modes of intensity. The sleeve rotates at different speeds and in different directions depending on the pattern you have chosen. You also need to ensure you lube the inner sleeve with A LOT of lube before you begin. The reason why will become clear shortly. So when I was ready to give it a try, I slicked up my finger, put it inside and turned it on, just to get an idea of how it might feel.
The inner texture of this particular sleeve was intense and bumpy and it felt like it was going to be a good one. I could feel all the different bumps and ridges.
So I lubed up the inner sleeve, and myself and then slipped inside. On the lowest setting, the rotation is almost non-existent. It’s very slow. As you start to move up, the rotation becomes more noticeable. At this point, I could feel myself being slowly pushed out of the sleeve – like I was being unscrewed.
So I turned it off, slipped back inside and turned it on – again, the same thing happened. I realised that I just wasn’t ‘turned’ on enough, so I put it to one side and came back to it later.
The second attempt with the RENDS Vorze A10 Cyclone SA Penis Masturbator, I was rock hard and raring to go. I lubed up both the sleeve and myself and dived right inside. This time, I had no problems staying in, but as soon as moved the speeds higher, the sensation was over-whelming to the point it of becoming uncomfortable. I would never have thought I had an overly sensitive penis, but here, on the highest speeds it was just way too much. So I took it down again and the sensitivity wore off, but once again, I found that I was ‘losing interest’ and the sleeve just wouldn’t keep hold of me and I kept coming out.
The third attempt yielded much the same result. Even the different patterns made no difference. When it was spinning, it was just too intense, and when it was lower, it just didn’t do much else for me, and therefore I lost interest and arousal. Combined with the fact it’s heavy as hell – trying to use it on your back with just your hands is impractical, but having to place it on end of the bed/on a desk/table/chair also isn’t really the sexiest of ideas. Now the actual Vortex Sleeve, now that was pretty good when used as just a solo masturbation sleeve – thrusting in and out was definitely a far nicer feeling than having it rotate around my shaft.
You could also use far less lube when used this way – not enough when used in the RENDS Vorze A10 Cyclone SA Penis Masturbator and it feels like it’s about to twist your penis off. Not cool! I’m all for lazy masturbation, but this doesn’t feel lazy, or pleasant. It’s awkward, bulky, noisy and complicated. And the fact it doesn’t include a sleeve in the price is unforgivable. Sleeves are €50 a pop, so you are looking at almost €450 for a sub-par wank. Sorry RENDS, but this is a big miss for me.
Score: 3 out of 10 (The sleeve is what’s saving this from being a 1!)
