Pjur Med After Shave Spray
Pleasure Panel review by crimescene
I jumped at the chance to review ‘Pjur Med After Shave Spray‘ on behalf of the lovely Cara Sutra. I have been looking for a product for a long time that relieves the nasties that come with shaving. In fact, I usually epilate but as this isn’t always possible (it’s very time consuming!) I was looking for something to soothe my sensitive skin.
The bottle states that it is a ‘personal calming and moisturising spray’ and also that it’s alcohol and perfume free. I found it ironic that this was all printed in English on the front, yet all the information on the back was in German. Now, my German is getting rustier by the minute so I had to do a quick Google for instructions. Basically I wanted to know if it was safe to use on intimate areas. It is indeed safe to use on pretty much any external area of skin. It would have been great to have multiple language instructions though.
As previously stated, I have very sensitive skin. After shaving I spend the rest of the day feeling like I have razor blades running over my legs and other areas. I also suffer with ingrown hairs. So you can guess how desperate I was to find a product that worked to ease this. The instructions I discovered claimed that a little went a long way, so you need only spray once on the area. I did as required: a couple of sprays to cover my legs and intimate area, then I let it dry. It soaked in relatively quickly (if you use too much it takes a while) and I was able to feel relief almost immediately. It soothed and calmed my angry skin and kept it that way. I was able to moisturise afterwards without it interfering as well.
I was so surprised by this product and despite not being impressed by lack of English instructions, I was extremely impressed by everything else. So I will be giving this a 9/10.
