Minx Silky Touch Bullet Vibrator Cara Sutra Pleasure Panel review

Have you ever tried a toy so bad it made you wish you could stop masturbating? I didn’t think it was possible but I have. The Minx Silky Touch Bullet Vibrator is honestly the worst feeling vibrator I have ever tried. I should have known what I was getting into when I chose to review such an inexpensive item. As this is a relatively simple, ABS hard plastic, design, I was hoping I would be able to recommend it as body safe option for those on a budget. Unfortunately good quality, body safe, options rarely come for cheap. There are a few acceptations to this rule, but this is certainly not one of them.

As soon as this toy arrived in the mail I ripped open the packaging and popped two AA batteries into the toy. The first thing I noticed when I turned it on is that the Silky Touch is incredibly loud. It’s the kind of cheap vibrator where the volume changes depending on how you tilt it and it sounds like its insides are rattling around. This broken lawnmower sound was unbearable and distracting. I live in a college dorm, so loud vibrators are particular inconvenient for me. In order to test this item I had to blast full volume punk music each time I used it, my neighbors must hate me. Side note, the staticy buzz in the background of poorly produced punk albums combined with the poor quality of my speakers masks the sound of a vibrator very effectively.

I have seen many retailers advertise the Minx Silky Touch Bullet Vibrator as an “Anal vibrator” and I find that incredibly concerning. This toy does not have a flared base so please don’t put it in your butt, you will lose it. Instead of anally I used this toy both clitorally and vaginally. Clitorally the actual vibrations weren’t weak, they were just uncomfortable. They were so buzzy that they were nearly instantly numbing and they actually sort of hurt. It was incredibly difficult to get off with this vibrator, but I care about my job so I eventually forced myself to. Although I did somehow manage an orgasm my overall experience was unpleasant and kind of painful. Vaginally this toy was much too thin for my tastes. If you enjoy incredibly slim dildos you might enjoy using this toy with the vibration turned off.  If that is the case then you can buy the Minx Silky Touch Bullet Vibrator from Simply Pleasure but, that is the only possible use I can think of for it.

If you are desperate for a cheap, body safe, clit vibe I recommend a Doc Johnson Pocket Rocket vibrator.

If at all possible though, please save your money and invest in a high quality toy that will last.
