Minx Aqua Silks Vibrating Egg Review
By Mel MacFarlane
Over the years, I have built up a considerable collection of vibrating eggs but so far none have quite managed to ‘hit the spot’, probably because I prefer clitoral stimulation to G Spot titillation. Nevertheless, when Cara Sutra asked me to review the Minx Aqua Silks Vibrating Egg for the Pleasure Panel, I agreed in the hope that this would be the product that finally rocks my G Spot.
The egg is available online and retails at a very affordable £13.95. I was given the product in return for a free and unbiased review of the item which will feature on the Cara Sutra website.
I love budget sex toys because they ensure that pleasure is available to everyone, despite the cost, and there is no doubt that the Minx Aqua Silks Vibrating Egg is a budget sex toy. The packaging reminds me of the Tesco ‘No Frills’ range because it is very plain. There is a picture of the product on the front and full instructions on the back. Nice, simple and fuss free!
From the information on the box, I discovered that the Minx Aqua Silks Vibrating Egg has four speeds:
- Extra Fast
The egg is:
- Latex Free
- Phthalate Free
The egg does not come with a battery either, which was slightly irritating for someone like me who has become spoilt with dozens of rechargeable sex toys. However, I managed to steal some AA batteries from the kid’s toys to get me started.
Putting the batteries into the egg was very easy, the base of the remote simply unscrews and the + and – signs are located on the remote itself. Insert the correct batteries and the Aqua Silks Vibrating Egg is ready to pay.
The on/off switches are very clearly marked and easy to navigate, even during use. If using a higher setting, press the OFF arrow to decrease settings and switch off the egg. This may require a few presses depending on your chosen mode.
Changing the settings
To switch between functions, simply press the corresponding arrow to increase or decrease the speed of vibration.
This egg is actually great value for money. I was a little disappointed to see that this product was wired as I like to experiment with outdoor teasing. However, I found that this offered something great in terms of indoor pleasure. As expected, the vibrations did very little for my G spot but when combined with a vibrating bullet against my clitoris the results were intense.
Because the egg vibe is a very small egg and measures just under two inches. It is small enough to sit on with the vibration resting against my clitoris without discomfort. I found that the egg worked best for me this way and can produce a very enjoyable climax. Also, this method still allows an element of control to you partner which does add more versatility to the product.
During use, the noise level of the egg was actually very quiet and could not be heard at all whilst it was inside the body. Used outside of the body, the egg can barely be heard and was very discreet.
The Minx Aqua Silks Vibrating Egg is a product which genuinely surprised me. I fully expected to write it off and rolled my eyes when I saw the wire. However, I am pleased to say that at just £13.95, this is a great little toy and perfect for a couple hoping to spice things up on a budget.
Overall, I really liked it!
Where can I get mine?
