Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug Review
Review of the Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug by Louise Lace
Sex toys come in many guises from dildos and vibrators, cock rings and penis sleeves, butt plugs and sounding sticks to soooo many other wonderful and some may say ‘weird’ devices and gadgets. What many of these toys have in common is the materials they’re made from, the list is endless! Silicone, glass or steel toys are most commonly found in my toy box.
Admittedly, I reach for my silicone toys the most but whenever I am craving just a little something ‘more’ I pull out a steel dildo or plug to feed my desires.
I delight in the coldness of the steel and I quiver at the thought of my body raising the temperature of the toy as I tease my orgasm to the surface and beyond.
When Cara offered the Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug for my thoughts the Geordie magpie in me couldn’t resist the opportunity to add another cold and unforgiving piece to my collection.
The Boule Vert (as it’s otherwise known) made a very pleasant clunk noise as it dropped through my letterbox. My husband and I quickly tore into the envelope. We enjoy playing with toys together, even more so when we can both use them so were excited to see the plug in all its glory.
My Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug arrived in a soft black velour pouch. Inside the drawstring pouch, the Boule Vert was wrapped in a foam wrap and sealed in a zip-lock bag. There was no box or outer packaging.
The lack of packaging meant there were no instructions or care information supplied with the plug.
The Boule Vert is around 13cm in length with a round base, the base features a beautiful emerald green gemstone, cut in such a way the it twinkles as the light catches it. It is a gorgeous colour.
Size-wise the Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug is not super huge, it is definitely longer than some beginner plugs in my collection, but girth wise it would not be too scary to someone who is looking for something a little ‘more’ when it comes to anal plugs.
Shape-wise there are 3 bulbs running the whole length of the plug. The smallest of which is located at the tip and is more of a cone shape to aid insertion. The base of this cone is very pronounced and gives that pop sensation when it slides into the body. This bulb is 2cm in diameter.
The middle bulb is again cone shaped but the base is more rounded to that of the smallest bulb. The diameter of this bulb is 2.5cm.
The third and final bulb is just 1mm larger than the middle and is the most rounded bulb of the three.
There is no stem between the last build and the jewelled base. Both my husband and I much prefer a stem on our plugs as this assists in helping to hold the plug in place, especially with the added weight of a steel piece.
In the absence of any packaging, I took a quick look at the Maison Du Plug website. This is a French site and as my level of French speaking is “Je m’appelle Louise”, I called upon Mr Google to assist.
The website describes the Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug as versatile suitable for use in both the vagina or the anus.
… if you are a man, the long size of this plug will ensure that you can effectively stimulate your prostate, so you can use this plug alone to masturbate or let your partner play with it. If you are a woman, the ball plug will put pressure on your anal / vaginal wall and thus stimulate your G-spot, but not only, the length of the plug will put pressure on the whole wall…’
Thank you Mr Google.
My husband was the first to be on the receiving end of the Boule Vert. I was feeling kind so I warmed the cold steel in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes before applying a small coating of lube over the length of the plug. A little goes a long way when lubing up a steel toy.
As the tip is only a tiny bit larger than the tip of my thumb I skipped the usual finger warm up and instead placed the tip of the Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug at his entrance, I slowly pushed the first bulb inside.
He gasped at the popping sensation as the bulb slipped in. I continued to slide the plug into place and the middle bulb joined the first.
This is where things were a little tricky. The pointed tip of the first bulb was prodding in a not very comfortable way. I readjusted the plug and altered the angle slightly. This seemed to do the trick.
I once again slipped the middle section into my husband. On a roll I pushed the third and final bulb in.
Holding the plug in place with my finger, allowing his body to adjust to the sensation of the plug i watched for his reaction. His face told me he was enjoying how the Boule Vert felt inside him. I could tell his muscles contracting round the plug by the twitching movements of the jewelled base on my finger.
I slowly began to move the base in circular motions, this altered the position of the plug inside and with those tiny movements a shocked ‘ooooh’ and an uncontrolled laugh burst out of my husband. ‘Oh… that’s hitting the spot,’ he sputtered between groans and giggles.
As with other stemless plugs he struggled to hold the plug in place without my holding it. This is not going to be a plug for long term wear.
Later whilst snuggled on the sofa, he described how much he enjoyed the protruded base of the first bulb as it massaged his prostrate and like me, was fascinated by how hot the plug felt after use.
As the Maison Du Plug site suggests using the Boule Vert as a dildo a few days later I brought out the plug during a solo session. I love the way cold steel makes my vaginal muscles clench so I skipped the warming in water stage and lubed up.
The Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug slipped easily into place and my body contracted around the steel.
Leaving the plug in place the weight of the base pressed against my perineum I was able to use my fingers to massage my clit. By tilting the angle of the base I was able to move the pointed tip around, while it didn’t quite hit my g-spot, it provided a very nice, almost pinpoint stimulation within my vagina.
With a combination of clitoral stimulation and wiggling of the plug, my solo session was very enjoyable.
We both enjoyed the Maison Du Plug Green Jewel Stainless Steel Beaded Butt Plug but we both wished it was girthier. Neither of us are novices when it comes to anal play so would definitely consider this to be a beginner/intermediate plug.
It’s an 8 out of 10 from us as the lack of stem meant play time was often confined to laying positions as neither of us could keep the plug in place when standing or walking.
Thank you to Cara and Maison Du Plug for sending me the Boule Vert for my thoughts.
