Recently, Patrons were offered the chance to review some items from Love Layla Designs. I’ll admit that my partner and I had never heard of this company prior to this post but after taking a look through their website, we fell in love with the combination of sarcasm, humour and naughtiness that we saw.
We volunteered ourselves and were selected to review one of five random packages, not knowing exactly what items we’d be receiving. In our little bundle, we found a pack of Love Layla Designs Blow Me Balloons, a wine bottle tag and a selection of greetings cards.
The Love Layla Designs Blow Me Balloons arrived in a plastic pouch with a branded label inside. There were five latex balloons in the pouch, all 12” in size. Each red balloon read ‘blow me’ which I found humorous and the website was printed in a smaller font underneath. I think these make a great novelty gift and my partner has already joked that he’ll be blowing these up on Valentine’s Day as a not so subtle hint. The Love Layla Designs Blow Me Balloons appear to be decent quality, didn’t tear easily upon a test blow with the pump and the helium can apparently last up to eight hours once the balloon has been fastened.
Wine bottle tags are something I’ve never used before but I loved the one that arrived in our bundle. It was presented in a plastic pouch with branded label inside with the tag clearly visible. We received the ‘I fuck after the first bottle’ tag which is a nice combination of fun and flirtation without being too much. All that I needed to do before gifting was grab a bottle of my partner’s favourite beverage, peel the wine tag away from its sticky backing and place it over the bottles existing label. It was a drink with a difference for him and the words on the tag may have just came true that night!
There were also four different cards included in our bundle. All designed with Valentines in mind. I am definitely going to be using one of these for my partner this year so he hasn’t seen any of the designs but as we share a similar sense of humour, I know he’s going to love them as much as I do. Each card is simplistic and straight to the point. Some greetings cards are overcrowded with borders, images and words but these designs just have a focal image and a short piece of text to them which I liked.
Each card is well made, fairly large and complete with thick red envelope. There is no writing on the inside so these can be personalised as much as the writer desires. There is however a coupon included within each card that can be exchanged for some sort of sexual gift. It comes with a few ideas listed but there’s also a blank space at the bottom to add in your own suggestion if none of those take your fancy. I wasn’t expecting this little extra, so this was a lovely touch and definitely set this company apart from others.
I will certainly be checking out Love Layla Designs for future special occasions for my partner and friends that share this sense of humour and I’d recommend you do too!
