Packaging & What’s In The Box

As with the other Ann Summers sex toys I’ve received to review, the Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator arrived in extremely discreet outer packaging for the post, while the toys were securely and safely packaged inside. The G-Spot Vibrator is contained in a recognisable Ann Summers box where you can see the toy through a window on the front. The box tells you some usage recommendations for the vibrator, as well as its features such as that is offers 6 functions, it’s waterproof, made from body-safe silicone and is rechargeable.

Inside the box you receive the Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator, its USB charging lead and the instruction leaflet.

First Impressions & Measurements

Like the Moregasm+ Petite Rampant Rabbit, the Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator is made with that dual-density feel sublimely smooth silicone, albeit in an attractive green shade rather than fuchsia pink. The tip is sensually squishy, imagine it like the tip of your nose and you’re not far wrong. You can tell there’s a core within the shaft where the delicious vibrations travel from the inner mechanisms, but the outer material is like a quick-to-warm, squishy and malleable ‘skin’ which is extremely tactile.

As this is a g-spot vibrator I was hoping that it would be powerful enough to thrill me when using it vaginally… I don’t orgasm from traditional vaginal penetration alone (classic vibes etc), however it’s possible for me to climax from g-spot stimulation if powerful enough and at the right angle to hit my spot. Usually, though, I need to add in some clitoral stimulation in order to enjoy a g-spot vibrator fully as well as to orgasm through their use. The shaft didn’t look that angled to me, either, but the proof would be in the pleasure sessions.

By my measurements, the Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator measures 7.25 inches in overall length, with a maximum insertable length of 5.5 inches. It has a maximum circumference of 4 inches.

Charging Up

it’s simple enough to charge up the Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator. There’s a USB charging lead included in the box, one end of which pushes through the dimple on the base of the toy, while the other end goes into a USB socket of your choice. I like to use my PC, or my multi USB-to-mains adaptor plug which I bought online.

An LED blinks through the silicone covering the control button while the toy is charging, changing to emit a steady glow once it’s fully charged.

During Use

The Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator was a pleasure to use, and I enjoyed using it, but it left me with the feeling that something was missing. As mentioned above, I don’t usually orgasm from vaginal penetration alone, but I have enjoyed G-spot orgasms in the past with specific styles of G-spot vibrators. My G-spot orgasms have required the vibrating sex toy I’m using to be powerful, dramatically angled, and if there’s a come-hither motion available, then all the better. I also know I’m more likely to orgasm through G-spot stimulation if I’m kneeling up rather than in any other position, so I tried this out during my testing of the Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator.

In the event that a G-spot vibrator doesn’t work for me in the above (and admittedly extremely specific) way, I have enjoyed g-spot toys in the past either in combination with clitoral stim toys (bullet vibes or wand vibrators), or if they’re powerful enough, as clitoral stimulation toys in their own right.

I’ve found that the Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator works much better for me when I use some water-based lubricant with it (my personal preference when it comes to lube types). When combined with that deliciously tactile, dual-density feeling, squishy-tip silicone, the toy feels less like a sexual accessory and more like an extension of my own body. The vibrator is delightfully easy to operate too, as there’s just one button to power on and off, which during use becomes the function button allowing you to discover the 3 constant speeds and 3 pulsating patterns.

So, did it work for me? Yes and no. Sadly it doesn’t give me a g-spot orgasm whether I use it by itself or add in a little clit stim with another toy. The tip is angled, but perhaps not dramatically enough for my particular G-spot’s liking (seriously, I often wonder if a right-angled vibrator would be best for the job). Is it pleasurable, enjoyable and fun to use? Damn right. The vibrations are quiet and powerful enough, although not the most powerful I’ve ever experienced.

I can’t orgasm with this toy on its own, whether I’m using it internally or trying to use it as a clitoral stimulator. However, I’ve enjoyed some fantastic orgasms with it when using it internally and adding in a bullet vibrator for clit stim. It’s fun to warm up with, with that tactile material making the pleasure session sublimely luxurious, and a little lube means it glides easily over my gradually-becoming-more-aroused sensitive region. Then I find I like to slip it inside, while vibrations applied to my clit help me finish the job in a spectacular fashion.

Summary

Because the Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator is a sex toy that, despite being great at warm-up and a lovely addition to masturbation, doesn’t bring me to orgasm by itself, I’m not in a hurry to reach for it again. I could go all round the houses and say it is lovely for including in couples’ foreplay and a good tease and it’s possibly great for vibrator newbies, but going on its primary purpose – to deliver G-spot fulfilment – I don’t feel it really worked for me.

Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator Review

The vibrator is certainly tactile, beautifully made and offers 6 functions which are easy to operate and scroll through, as well as the toy being waterproof and rechargeable. I do love that squishy-tip silicone material – but I much, much prefer my Moregasm+ Bullet Vibrator. Now there’s a toy that does what it says on the tin –gives me an orgasm each and every time I use it.

Much -if not all- of this review will be down to my personal anatomy and stimulation preferences, so as always, your mileage may vary. As I explained, I have specific requirements when it comes to G-spot vibrators which give me that type of orgasm, plus a G-spot orgasm is nowhere near as easy for me to achieve as a clitoral one.

I do feel that the tip needs to be angled a little more dramatically, even though this is labelled a ‘petite’ vibe. Whether kneeling up, or in a laying-down masturbatory position, the handle of the vibrator needs to be pushed backwards in order to get that tip ever closer to my g-spot and attempt to give it the direct, firm and constant contact it requires during the session.

Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot Vibrator Review

A well-made vibrator with many luxurious features, which sadly didn’t work all that well for me but wasn’t a complete disaster. I can definitely enjoy what it has to offer –which, for me, unfortunately doesn’t match up with its primary purpose.
