Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator Review

Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator review: When I was 18 and got my first vibrator, it came from an Ann Summers shop, this was before there was really internet shopping, and certainly before the wide variety of choices we have today. If you wanted a vibrator it was either go to an Ann Summers shop, or and Ann Summers party, at least those were the only options where I lived.

I remember my first two Ann Summers vibrators vividly. They were both purple, one was a small metallic looking bullet, and the other was exactly the same but bigger, the bullet used a single AAA battery and the bigger vibrator ran off two size C batteries. Both were bought for me by my boyfriend at the time (who worked away), and they got used to death. I replaced them with more Ann Summers vibrators but found the life of them got worse, after a few more replacements I gave up buying them, they just didn’t seem to last anymore.

I realised that was pretty much the end of my Ann Summers journey, until that is, I read about their new Moregasm Move collection. The first Moregasm collection were (according to their PR) their fastest selling vibrators in history. These vibrators include their exclusive ‘Climax Technology’, which generates long, low frequency vibrations that travel further. The new Moregasm Move sex toys collection combines this ‘Climax Technology’ with movement.

The Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator (found here at annsummers.com) is made from silky smooth silicone. It has a lovely soft feel but it does seem to attract dust so you will find you need to wash it before use, as well as after. This is really simple to do because it is ‘truly’ waterproof, so you can just wash it in the sink with warm water and antibacterial soap. Ann Summers also state that the materials used are 100% body safe; latex, phthalate, and cadmium free.

My first thought on opening the outer packaging of the Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator was “It’s huge.”  It looked at first glance very big. I think this is mostly due to the length, it comes in at 10 inches (25cm), as when I measured and compared it doesn’t really have any more girth than my favourite G-Spot vibrator (L’Amourose Rosa). The balance of weight in this vibrator seems to be towards the handle end, which can make it slightly awkward to hold but if you keep it next to your bed you could knock out a burglar.

The Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator has a nice shape with a slightly bulbous ‘tip’ that curves upward for G-Spot stimulation. There are 6 functions (or modes); 2 strengths of vibration, 1 movement, and 3 combinations of movement and vibration pattern. It’s a long press to turn the power on and off and two buttons to scroll through the patterns. Due to placement I did manage to accidentally turn it off a few times, purely due to how you have to hold it while in use.

The vibrations from the Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator were nice and deep, they felt quite rumbly and worked great on my clit, it was also fairly quiet. While I could hear them from under a duvet (more due to the vibrations travelling through the mattress), I couldn’t hear them through a closed door. As a vibrator I actually thought this was quite good, so I had high hopes for the movement function. Holding it in my hand and running through the patterns it was easy to see what they were trying to do with the move, and I was interested to see how it worked… it didn’t.

I’m not sure if this issue is due to the fact I have strong, and well-controlled PC muscles, or if it’s just a design flaw but I had a huge issue with the Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator. The vibrator was inside me and I switched from vibrations (which felt really good) to the movement, and the handle (which I was holding outside my body) started rotating. I felt nothing inside me but the handle was moving. I tried everything to get it to work how it had in my hand; I clamped my thighs down on it, held it with two hands but it just wouldn’t work how it was supposed to. I was worried I’d somehow managed to break it, so I took it out and tried it in my hand, and it was fine. Tried again to use it internally, and it did the same thing.

Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator Review

Overall I really liked the vibrations of Ann Summers Moregasm Move G-Spot Vibrator but for me the movement part was a waste, it just didn’t work how it should have. Which is a shame as I think what they were trying to accomplish with this could have been really good.  I’m giving it 6/10 because I really did like the deep rumbly and fairly quiet vibrations but as it’s being marketed as more than just a vibrator I don’t feel I can give it more marks. Doesn’t live up to the ‘Move’ part of its name.

6/10

    • It was a guest reviewer who reviewed this… it looks like jackpin at the end of the charging lead. Is there a small indent to the back of the bottom of the handle, or at the very base of the handle? These new silicone toys usually have a port area while looks like part of the material but you push the jackpin through then afterwards the silicone reseals to ensure it’s watertight.

    • I requested some more photos from the reviewer to help with this query and they’re now in the review above. I hope they help you out!
