By Carnal Queen If anybody has ever ventured onto my own blog, they’ll know how highly I regard L’Amourose. They make two of my favourite ever toys (Rosa Rouge & Prism VII Rouge) and as a company in general, I think their products rock. I was super excited to be given the opportunity to review a L’Amourose product, as part of Cara’s Pleasure Panel, because this set has intrigued me for a long time.
By Carnal Queen I think we’ve probably all just about recovered from the over-indulgences of Christmas, but you might still be at the stage where you’d wanna punch me for flaunting chocolate selection boxes in your face. I know, I get it, we’re in a new year, resolutions and all that jazz! Have no fear though, this is a totally different kind of sweet selection box made by Durex for Valentine’s Day, and it’s aptly named the Durex Sexlection Box...
By Carnal Queen I really love bullet vibrators, which is no surprise, because a clitoral orgasm is by far the easiest for me to achieve. I can be lazy sometimes when it comes to masturbation, I want to be able to grab something which is quick and efficient at getting the job done, and bullet vibrators often fit that bill beautifully. I was looking forward to giving this Minx Simplicity Bullet a go, because it looks fab and has some neat little benefits given it’s size and price point, but does it leave me quivering and breathless …?
By Carnal Queen Hey, welcome to my first ever Pleasure Panel review for Cara Sutra! You’ll see me pop up here from time to time with my thoughts on certain products, and in this review I’ve been trying out the L’amourose Intimate Moisturizer sachets.
By Carnal Queen Talking of the sex scenes, the ones in this book are hot! I like Jacqui’s writing style, there are no outlandish euphemisms in sight, which I was relieved to discover. No ‘purple, pulsating man rods’ or ‘swollen, throbbing lady caves’ to be seen, which is good because I find all that twaddle a complete turn off. An erotic novel for me needs to have a ‘throb’ factor - If my vagina isn’t tingling and twitching, then it’s no bloody good! I’m happy to report that the straight talking, no nonsense use of raw language in this book to convey Maddy’s sexual adventures certainly got me all stirred up. The sex is undoubtedly vanilla though, it’s still hot and steamy, but there’s nothing out of the ordinary. Despite getting a little frustrated with the indecisive main character at times, I really enjoyed reading The Imperfect Gentleman.
