Cara Sutra: Finalist for Best ‘Voice’ in the Mumpreneur Awards 2014
I am absolutely thrilled, stunned, speechless, delighted and a whole cavalcade of happy adjectives to announce that I have been selected as a finalist in the esteemed Mumpreneur Awards 2014! These amazing awards are national business awards to recognise hardworking mums building successful businesses while raising a family.
From thousands of entries and nominations I was chosen to be one of the 10 finalists in the Voice category (I think that’s a stray ‘o’ – and they really mean Vice) which focusses on the work done through blogging. That means that you, my readers, are all a part of why I was chosen as a finalist in this category. THANK YOU so much.
There are a few other categories in the Mumpreneur awards, such as Spark, Wired, Pillar, Boost (sadly not about chocolate), Reach, Champion, Courage, Engage, Unique, Best Product and Future Star.
Here are the other Finalists for the Voice Award, and their websites:
Cara Houiellebecq – Cara Sutra
Emily-Jane Clark – Surviving A Sleep Thief
Jo – Slummy Single Mummy
Lyndsey Elizabeth – That Welsh Blonde
Rochelle Bathew – Baby Blog & Me
Rosie Parsons – The Photography Parlour
Sarah Turner – Women United V Cancer
Susan Mann – Susan K Mann
Suzanne Daykin – Little Web Hut
Vanessa Potter – awaiting details
As I am a finalist in one of the categories I am also in with a chance of winning the Inspirational Business Mum award 2014. Amazing!
Good luck to all the Mumpreneur finalists and I am excited to find out the well deserved winners. I am ecstatically happy to reach this stage and I think it’s a positive step forward for sexuality that a sex related blog can be recognised in national business awards.
A huge thank you to Mumpreneur for selecting me as a finalist, and for arranging the Mumpreneur Annual Conference and Awards ceremony on the 8 November. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend as I will be opening the fantastic Boiler Room at La Boudoir Boutique, but I have asked intrepid and wonderful business mum Mel MacFarlane of Voluptasse to go in my stead.
