Vorarephilia: The Cannibalism Fetish
Now here’s an entirely new spin on the phrase “eating out”! Perhaps you’ve heard of vore but you’re not sure what it is. Vorarephelia is a fetish, and those who find themselves aroused by the idea of eating, or being eaten by, a person. Not in the literal eating of people, but more of a cannibalism fetish. Dolcett Girls falls under the vore kink category.
What is Dolcett?
Dolcett is a fetish artist who has depicted females being spit roasted (literally, not in a sexual way), being cooked and eaten by others and various other illustrated scenes surrounding these topics. The usual searches for related information on the internet is Dolcett Girls or simply for Dolcett fetish.
Vore and Dolcett are arguably amongst the most extreme fetishes. These are not comfortable topics for the majority of people; however for those who are aroused by these thoughts there are many illustrations and fantasy porn videos online so that at least an element of the fetish can be enjoyed.
The Vore Paradox
The whole topic seems a bit of a paradox to me. No judgement, however. It seems contradictory to my mind to become aroused by subjects that you can never see come to fruition in reality, and Vore and Dolcett Girls fetishes can certainly only ever remain a fantasy lived out through fictional words, roleplay (acted) videos and drawn or graphic illustrations.
Is It All Cannibalism?
It’s easy for those who don’t understand, or agree with, these fetishes to mistakenly think that Vore and Dolcett fetishists are actively seeking to hunt down a person or people and eat them. Or, that they want to be eaten in actuality, themselves. This hasn’t been the case with those I’ve spoken to.
In fact it is quite clear that the thoughts themselves are confined to the realms of fantasy. It’s just like that dark and deviant fantasy right at the back of your mind, that you’ve never told anyone about and which would never even come close to seeing the light of day.

Personal Viewpoint
Vore and Dolcett Girls aren’t fetishes that I share and I can’t honestly say I fully understand them. But then I think I only really ‘get’ fetishes that I personally associate with and become aroused by. This doesn’t mean that I don’t agree with them, that I’m not tolerant of them or that those who do subscribe to these notions for psychological and sexual fulfilment should be shunned or belittled.
Etymology
Wikipedia tells us:
“The word vorarephilia is derived from the Latin vorare (to “swallow” or “devour”), and Ancient Greek φιλία (philía, “love”).”
The etymology here makes a lot of sense. Especially when we look at other words such as ‘devour’ and ‘voracious’.

Ah. I suppose I wasn’t really aware of this as a recognised fetish. It does shed light on the letter an author friend of mine got detailing how the (anonymous) writer wanted to rape, cook and eat him, maybe make it slightly less alarming. In that instance, I think it would have been kinder to spell out loud that it was just a fantasy – as it was, he took it to the police.
I don’t know. I’m a vegetarian… I suppose for me this is no more extreme than the people who look at lambs gambolling in the field and think ‘mmm, mint sauce!’ 🙂
I have been on and off Dolcett Girls for years. But you know the most interesting part about my experience with these people is that they provided me help and support (although only online through private messages) at a time when I REALLY needed it and I had nobody else to talk to. They CAN be nice. You only need to make sure to always ask them what is for dinner. 😀
I have always been interested in this fetish. I recently started to cater to it a couple of months. In my experience, most of my fans like the idea of me shrinking them down and swallowing them whole. Sometimes I talk about them living inside of my stomach.
