For today’s 365 photo, I thought I would share with you my go-to shelf of Interesting Stuff. A pretty good representation of my ever changing focus of attention, I like to have this hefty handful of sparklies around to entertain myself in those 5 seconds I might not have something else immediately requiring my attention.
On the go-to shelf right now?
A Christmas windowsill decoration that is actually there all year, as it’s too pretty to be stored away.
Good Omens novel by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman. An amazing book. If you haven’t read it, read it. Immediately. Drop whatever it is you’re doing and go get it now.
The Angel & The Prince by Tiffany Reisz. Second and third installments of what will be the Original Sinners quartet. The first, The Siren, is on loan to Harlot, as I’m forcing her to read it. If you haven’t read them yet, start now. Book 4 (The Mistress) is out this year and I can’t wait.. Ms Reisz is quite the addictive sadist!
12 Shades of Surrender: Undone. Mills & Boon sent me this as well as Bound, to review. Anthologies of erotic short stories by established erotic authors. I have Bound under the bed, half way through. This one’s next.
The Duties of Servants. Cute little book which is from documents found dating back to the 18th century, about ACTUAL servants. Not submissives, apparently. Still, I find it an intriguing and fascinating read and have put some of the contents into place for minnie already!
Mamma Mia on DVD. I really need to see this. I haven’t yet! Need to tie down the rest of the ‘gang’ to have a gay old time with it one night. Have heard only good things, so don’t ruin it for me.
Gone With The Wind on Blu-Ray DVD. One of my favourite films ever. I received this special, extended edition with over 8 hours of bonus content from Harlot for Christmas. Se says she’ll watch it with me sometime. When we have a day spare. Can’t wait, I love it. Ahhhh Rhett and Scarlett!
My first edition Kindle which an ex bought me for the Christmas before last. Keeper of many, many erotic novels and short stories, all of which I should have reviewed a long time ago. Also, random books from Amazon such as “Twitter API for Dummies” and “How Today’s Online Social Revolution Is Dividing, Diminishing, and Disorienting Us”. Serious face is serious.
Couple of P!nk CDs. If you didn’t know, Pink is my favourite music artist. If you didn’t know, have you been hiding under a rock for the last few years? Mizunderstood & Funhouse. I did have the I’m Not Dead, Trouble and Greatest Hits physical albums too but I’ve misplaced them. Sad face. She’s the only musician that I like to have the actual physical CDs for. I need to get the new Truth About Love Album sent!
So there you have it. Shelf of Interesting Stuff. I seem to have rambled. Sorry.
