After reviewing the Yes Cleanse Organic Cleanser for the July round of the Pleasure Panel (it’s awesome by the way), I spoke to Yes and they kindly sent me two of their lubes to try, this in no way affects my opinions of the products which will always be my own.

As with the cleanser I was hugely impressed by Yes’ commitment to organic products. Their website gives loads of details about the origin of their ingredients; the key points for me being they are certified organic (95% of the ingredients in their products are organic), contain no glycerine or parabens and Yes only use ethical production methods.

Yes kindly sent me a bottle each of YES BUT, a water based anal lube and YES OB, an oil based lube which intrigued me as I’ve never tried one before.

My Review

I loved the play on words, I know it’s a corny one but this lube appeals to my silly sense of humour.

The packaging is clean and classy, it doesn’t scream sex product in any way, and wouldn’t look out of place in my bathroom with my other toiletries or stand out on my dressing table.

Texture wise this lube is super thick, it’s silky to the touch which surprised me, I’ve only found that sort of texture before in glycerine containing water based lubes which I actively avoid.

It coats dildos really well and is runny enough that you don’t need to use loads but substantial enough to provide real cushioning for anal penetration.

I’ve used the YES BUT Water Based Anal Lube for both anal sex and masturbation and not needed a re-application even during very vigorous sessions.

Being water based and having no chemical nasties, the YES BUT Water Based Anal Lube also perfect for vaginal use especially with larger toys.

I have very sensitive skin and have previously had bad reactions to some lubes but the YES BUT Water Based Anal Lube was fantastic for me. No irritation and it removed any unwanted drag from everything I applied it to.

I absolutely love this lube and will definitely be buying another bottle when it runs out.
