Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator Review

The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator has been one of my favourite bullet vibrators for years. I realised I’d never actually reviewed this bullet vibe at carasutra.com in all my years of owning & loving it… so it was about time to put that right.

It may be surprising to hear that I love the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator so much when you find out it’s battery powered… But, let’s start at the beginning.

Packaging

The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator is housed in a transparent plastic cradle, within a glossy card folded outer. The packet is attractively designed with black background and contrasting pink Tracey Cox brand wording, stating clearly what the item is. There’s a subtle erotic image of a couple in the background.

On the back of the pack is a little more information for you: how you can use bullet vibrators, a quote from Tracey Cox herself, how to use the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator and some small print.

The pack is easy to open, no fingernail breakage risks or scissors required.

First Impressions

When I got my very first Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator, back in… ooh… must be at least 8-9 years ago now, I remember even in those early days not expecting too much from the toy. It’s low priced, it’s small, it has a one button operation, it’s battery powered; how amazing could it be, really?

It measures 3.25 inches in length with a maximum circumference of 2 inches.

Although it’s certainly not the cheapest small or bullet vibrator out there, it’s also branded, so I’d expect to pay a little more for an item with a well-known name on the packaging. I assumed this was a £5-8 bullet vibe hoisted up to £14.99 simply because of Tracey Cox’s name on the packet.

That was all before I switched it on.

Power & Operation

In order to use the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator there’s a couple of seconds prep required. Unscrew the cap with the button on it, do not remove the internal paper sleeve, grab yourself an AAA battery, insert positive end first, replace the cap.

Twist it tight enough to seal but not overly tight as you risk damaging the bullet vibrator and/or popping out the slim silicone ring which forms the watertight seal.

Then it’s simply a case of pressing the matching pink silicone button on the end of the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator to turn it on. It’s a single speed vibration bullet vibrator; happily, though, it’s the perfect speed to bring me to orgasm.

How It Feels

I really enjoy using my Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator for clitoral stimulation during masturbation, or to add clit tingles during foreplay and sex with my partner. It’s easy to grab and use when I’m enjoying a vaginal penetrative or anal sex toy, and because it’s usually clitoral stimulation which gets me there (rather than vaginal or anal) the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator is the magical addition which pushes me over that edge.

Unlike plenty of other bullet vibrators (some cheaper but also some more expensive) the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator offers a very decent power output considering it’s such a small, affordable vibe. I believe this is because it takes an AAA battery rather than watch or cell batteries. It doesn’t give the jackhammer juddering, thuddy widespread vibration of a mains powered wand vibrator, it’s more a powerful high frequency vibration – but the “jackhammer judders” are not always wanted or required. Besides, there’s often the noise levels to consider.

The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator is not only surprisingly powerful, it’s surprisingly quiet. You don’t often get power and limited noise in the same vibrator, usually you have to sacrifice one or the other.

When used with a slippery water-based lubricant (I prefer it with a slick, glossy type rather than a hybrid, oil or creamy type), the vibration seems even more pin-point and stimulating when used clitorally. Pushed against one side of my clit and slid easily back and forth as I desire, the powerful vibrations thrilling my nub of nerve endings, it’s not long before I reach that familiar, satisfying orgasm.

Summary

If you’re a fan of pin-point clitoral stimulation, don’t require large surface area vibration coverage, don’t necessarily require bone-shaking levels of vibration but also won’t settle for vibrators which merely purr at your clit, you need the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator.

As you may know from reading my many articles and reviews here at carasutra.com, I’m a Power Queen when it comes to my vibrators, and some of my favourite sex toys are mains-powered wand vibrators, ride-on sex machines or other similarly large, loud and proud types. However, you can’t use a Doxy Wand any and everywhere, they’re not as easy to travel with, they’re unapologetically loud and you need a mains power source to use them. You have to set up a fucking machine, they often require mains power, and boy, are they loud.

In contrast:

  • The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibrator is brilliantly portable & slips easily into your handbag, glove compartment, vanity case – you could even easily palm it or pocket it for an extra fun visit to the ladies at work.
  • It’s so quiet that the vibrations can’t be heard through a closed door – and even less likely to be heard when there’s background noise such as a bathroom extractor fan, some music or the TV.
  • It’s waterproof, so you can enjoy it in the bath or shower as well as enjoying no-hassle clean-ups
  • It’s non-porous and contains no phthalates; it’s made with plastic and is gorgeously rigid
  • It takes a commonly found battery, one AAA type.
  • You’ll never run out of charge; no worries about forgetting to recharge as it’s battery-powered
  • It’s easy to operate, just one push-button to switch on or off.
  • It feels extra superb when used with a splash of water-based lube.
  • It’s versatile – you can use it not only for clitoral stimulation but anywhere on your – or their – body.
  • The price? Less than £15. Bargain.
