Sweet Temptations: The Babysitter by LM Mountford Book Review
By Pleasure Panel reviewer McBitchyTits
Firstly let me thank Cara Sutra for letting me review Sweet Temptations: The Babysitter by LM Mountford (aka Dark Inferno) for her website. Sadly I really wanted to like this book but I just can’t.
Starting with the cover I loved the design but not the very young looking girl on the cover [this refers to an older cover than the one shown], in the book it states she is 21 but looks much younger on the cover again this is just my personal opinion.
The book is supposed to be erotica but the sex doesn’t start till way after halfway through the book, which disappointed me. The book is very well written with some wonderful descriptions and I see a lot of promise from the author but I don’t see the need for road names in a book like this as a description would work better i.e. dual carriage way, tree lined street etc. etc. My other minor point was brand names (Tesco) this gripes me because if the reader isn’t in the UK then they might not of heard of Tesco therefore not knowing what Tesco is but for me it made me wonder if I had remembered to do my online shop – not a good thing to think about when you want to read a hot n steamy book.
My other major gripe is the words used, I’m a straight talking girl and I like words like cock, pussy and I found I hated them being called molten heat/vivacious channel/softening arousal just was a big turn off to me. I didn’t get turned on reading this and I do usually reading a good well-written sex scene. Sorry but I can only give this a seven out of ten.
